I am Francesca, and I am pleased to offer a distinctive space within my historic Venetian residence. The guest room is an intimate attic retreat, rich in character and architectural charm, accessed via a steep interior ladder from the main living area (as shown in the photos). Guests should be comfortable with climbing and reasonably agile. The apartment is located in Fondamenta della Misericordia, one of Venice’s most authentic and vibrant neighborhoods, appreciated by locals for its lively yet refined atmosphere. The area offers artisan shops, selected restaurants, wine bars, and fresh food markets, all within immediate reach. Set away from the busiest tourist routes, this is an ideal choice for guests seeking a discreet and genuinely local experience. The interiors combine timeless Venetian elegance with contemporary details, creating a balanced and carefully curated environment. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, or creative stays, the attic room provides a quiet and inspiring base in one of Venice’s most distinctive areas. Guest access Guests access the attic bedroom via the ladder shown in the photos. Please note that it is steep and requires a good level of agility. The bathroom is located downstairs, near the living area, and is shared. I also reside in the apartment, in a separate bedroom situated beyond the living space, ensuring privacy for both guests and host. The kitchen is available for light use: guests are welcome to use the fridge and prepare breakfast, snacks, coffee or tea at any time. Full cooking is generally not included. I kindly ask that shared areas are used with care and respect to maintain a pleasant environment for everyone. During your stay I truly enjoy welcoming guests into my home and offering them a unique, local experience in Venice. While I’m a reserved person and lead a busy life here, I value the opportunity to share my space with respectful travelers from around the world. Sharing my home works beautifully when there’s mutual consideration. I kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise and to keep shared areas tidy. The kitchen is available for light use only — such as making a sandwich, breakfast, tea or coffee — as I also use it daily for my own meals. When I’m away from home, you’re welcome to use the kitchen more freely.
