Description
Also discover our website: pure nature, the view of the reed and Lake Neusiedl, peace and relaxation. Cycling, enjoy fantastic sunsets in the evening and a glass of wine from Burgenland. Our lake hut is located directly on the water, has a large swimming area right in front of the hut, where the boat with electric motor can also be anchored with which you can sail out onto the open lake and which is available to you free of charge for your stay. The space The reed covered lake hut is located directly on Lake Neusiedl in Rust and has a private dock, a sun deck and an overwater dining table. with awning with cozy pads. The Seehütte Sonnendeck has an A-tent shape, is about 38 square meters and stands on a wooden plateau with about 100 square meters of space directly in the water. It is a so-called pile construction. In total, the cabin can accommodate a maximum of 5 people, with the shape of the room being limited by the tent. But life mostly takes place outdoors anyway. The reed-covered pile house has a ground-level, separate bedroom with a double bed. The other two double beds (slatted base with mattresses, for space reasons there is no full bed with legs and bed main) is romantically right under the roof of the cabin and can be reached with a ladder. The beds are therefore not recommended for people with reduced mobility or small children. A small kitchen with stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and a Nespresso machine is available. Toilet and bathroom with sink are located in the cabin. For showering, we have - in the glamping style - an outdoor shower where you can shower outdoors. You can also find more information about the amenities and other pictures on our website. Please note that the shower or the space of the cabin, despite everything, is more reminiscent of a sailing or camping holiday and the space in the cabin is quite limited. Those who book such a vacation consciously book the reduced and simple and no luxury vacation. Incidentally, we discovered the furnishings of the Seehütte all over the world. Old teak benches from Bali, a beautiful chest of India and a wonderful dining table that we found in a wine cellar in Burgenland and renovated ourselves. The seaside hut is within walking distance of a few steps and then via a wooden jetty through the reed belt. A public beach, sailing school and the boat rental in Rust are about 200 meters away from the cabin. The lake cottage is fully equipped with mosquito screens. You can swim in front of the lake hut. However, the entire Neusiedlersee is not very deep. The hut is located in the middle of the nature reserve and is surrounded by reeds. Lake Neusiedl and the old town of Ruster are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Thus, the UNESCO of the cultural landscape of Neusiedler See adds an "extraordinary value for all humanity". More photos on our website. Guest access The Seehütte Neusiedlersee is a holiday home that is exclusively available to our guests on their own. Nevertheless, we are always available as hosts. More information and photos can also be found on our website. Other things to note Each lake cabin has an electric boat, which we are happy to provide you free of charge during your stay. However, please note that you are liable for damage to the boat and exits are only possible if the water level allows this and the boat is operational. Since we are happy to provide our boat free of charge (at no extra charge!) please note that if it is not possible to use the boat (because e.g. the water level is too low or the boat should not be technically usable), no refund for the unused boat. The boat is free driver's license, but may only be steered from the age of 18. Use is at your own risk and liability.
