Lakeside chalet offering stunning views in the heart of Crackenback. A perfect base for skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. The space Welcome to Stillwater A! This privately owned two bedroom duplex chalet offers stunning views over the lake and towards the mountains. Set on two levels, the ground floor has an open plan lounge area, dining suite, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine and dishwasher, second bedroom, main bathroom and European laundry with drying facilities for your boots and gloves after a day in the snow. Upstairs is the spacious master bedroom with gorgeous lake and mountain views and ensuite with bath to relax in after a busy day exploring the region. There is a secure storage room at the front of the property for all your ski and snowboard gear or your mountain bike in the summer months. Throughout winter guests can relax by the gas fireplace after a day on the slopes, while during the warmer months they can enjoy their surrounds from the deck overlooking the water. Crackenback is situated on the Alpine Way between Thredbo and Jindabyne, with easy access to the Ski Tube next door that makes getting to Perisher a mere 10 minute train ride. Guests have access to restaurants, luxury spa, gym, tennis courts, indoor pool and sauna and other outdoor activities including golf, trout fishing and even Segway tours. Please note some activities may incur costs. Ideal for families or groups of friends, this accommodation is the perfect choice from which to enjoy an alpine experience. Sustainability practices include: Rainwater collected, recycling bins provided, taps and showers are water-efficient, towel reuse in place, walls and ceilings insulated, double glazed windows, green spaces on property. Please note: The Resort does not currently offer Wifi. We apologise for any inconvenience. Both Telstra and Optus networks operate well within the area. This property is 'Not Pet Friendly' PID-Stra-12826 Guest access Access to our properties is via a door code, lockbox or key pick up from our office. You will be sent check-in details via SMS and Email on the day of your arrival when the property is ready for you. Once you have booked you will receive a copy of our digital compendium which provides information on where to arrive and what to do in the wonderful Snowy Mountains. We give our guests the space they need and are available when required. For any further assistance, questions or inquiries please contact our office between 9 am - 5 pm or for an emergency outside of these hours please call the afterhours phone number provided at check-in. Other things to note Keep in mind that all bookings are subject to the Conditions of Tenancy, which can be found in the House rules section (you might need to click "Show more"). Please note: As a software-connected host, we are authorised by Airbnb to process this bond outside the platform. Completion of our online registration form is required before check-in details can be provided. A security bond of $500 will be processed on the day of your arrival by the managing agent. Your bank will hold these funds as a pre-authorisation and will be released back to your account 7-10 days after being processed, as long as there is no claim against your reservation (you will be informed if a claim is made). This property sleeps a maximum of 4 people including children and infants. Please be aware that you are booking private accommodation, not a hotel. As a result, we do not provide daily on-site housekeeping and have limited availability for additional or replacement items like pillows, blankets, or toilet paper. Our properties are fully self-contained and all linen & towels are included. A small starter pack of detergent, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper & garbage bags are supplied to begin your visit. You will need to bring more of these items or buy locally if you are here for more than two nights. Check-in time is 4pm during Winter. We understand that this may not be ideal, but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate earlier check-ins during busy periods. Lastly, we highly recommend guests to purchase appropriate travel insurance for their trip. Travel insurance is not just for international trips and can provide coverage for lost or damaged luggage, Covid-19 amendments, cancellation costs, medical expenses, and more.
