Minervois is one of our large gites in our tranquil haven, set in the Lauragais countryside. This newly renovated gite is perfect for a couple or family to embrace life at a slower pace with a more sustainable holiday. We are surrounded by fields and rolling hills which creates a natural environment that allows you time to breathe, relax, connect and enjoy shared time together. The fully equipped gite has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area as well as its own private garden. The space Peaceful and wooded grounds offering shaded hiding places, a heated communal pool, a children's playground and private parking. An idyllic setting with plenty of space to relax, play or use as a base. Minevoisis is one of our four cottages and is perfect for a couple or family. You can cook, dine and relax together in the open-plan ground floor kitchen, dining room and living room which has large doors that open onto a small terrace and lawn overlooking the pool. There is a large private garden overlooking the fields that is perfect for watching sunsets, having a barbecue or relaxing together. There is a large double bedroom on the ground floor, two twin beds in an upstairs bedroom and two more beds on a mezzanine. You can relax with a morning coffee or go for a walk to enjoy the views of the Lauragais plain that stretches from the Montagne Noire to the Pyrenees. Why not visit a local market to taste the fabulous culinary culture of the region? In the afternoon, sit by the pool or in our gardens to read or simply enjoy the view... As the evening approaches, play foosball or table tennis before enjoying an evening meal based on fabulous local products. After sunset, sit back and watch the stars to end this perfect day. If you're looking for something a bit more active, let us help you explore the landscape by bike with hikes for all levels. If you are interested in culture, there are many historical sites such as Carcassonne, Montelieu or Saissac. We are surrounded by natural beauty that you can enjoy; try our nearby lakes for swimming, sailing and picnicking, canoeing on a local river, or rent a boat to explore the Canal du Midi. We are surrounded by the countryside, but we are easy to access with the highway just 15 minutes away. We are close to many small villages with restaurants and bars and many attractions. If you want to spend a vacation without a car, we can help you, because we are close to train stations. Our goal is to offer vacation experiences that are good value for money, that promote the environment and do not damage it. We strive to Source locally: We source from local artisanal producers to promote the region and reduce energy waste in transportation. Minimize negative impact: We try to use organic, plastic-free, cruelty-free products with the lowest possible negative impact. Reduce, reuse, recycle: This minimizes energy consumption, waste and landfilling. Promote and develop the natural environment in which we live and work. We are also passionate about food and have discovered the rich food heritage of the Lauragais that we want to highlight through our on-site shop. We are also happy to help you make your vacation with us special by personalizing your stay with recommendations for outings to discover this heritage. Why not cycle to our local olive producer to taste their amazing oil and try fascinating food pairings. Visit the Revel market, which has been voted one of the best markets in France for local and organic products. Have a local meal prepared and delivered to your accommodation. Discover the wines of the region during tasting sessions. Enjoy a cassoulet and its house in Castelnaudary. Visit a local farm to taste the cheese and see the cows and goats. Take a gastronomic walk through the famous Victor Hugo market in Toulouse. Guest access We have a large site which is all open to guests. There is plenty of space to sit and relax. We have lots of green space with gardens to sit and relax under the trees,and a large heated swimming pool. There is a children's play area. We also have our on site shop with local specialties, wine, beer and those little essentials. By the shop you can sit and relax under our large barn with baby foot, table tennis and 'bar' area. Each gite and tent has its own private space as well so you can sit and relax. All accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay with us All linen and towels are supplied.
