Coastguard's Cottage - Pett Level, near Rye

A 3 bedroom house in Pett Level. A fully equipped kitchen with washing machine & dishwasher. A large open plan lounge/diner with a woodburner & french doors opening onto the garden. The 1st floor has 2 double bedrooms & with sea or countryside views, one bedroom can be configured as a twin but must be requested when booking. There is a wet room on this floor. The master suite has a king size bed, bath, WC & hand basin. South facing garden set over 3 levels. ONLY 1 DOG ALLOWED FOR A PET FEE The space The cottage allows one well behaved dog for a fee of £30 but be aware the garden is not enclosed. There is water at the end of the garden so children should be supervised at all times. Parking for 2/3 cars nearly opposite the cottage on a private drive. Please always park considerably so as not to impact on other home owners. The quiet beach is a 5 minute walk and is perfect for swimming, sand castle building at low tide and rock pooling. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the cottage downhill. Guest access To the whole house Other things to note Please note the accommodation is for self-catering - we provide a starter pack of items like toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and new jeye cloth but they will most likely not last the duration of your stay. We do not provide salt, pepper or oil but there may be some in the property if previous guests have left it. We do not provide shower gel or shampoo. The garden is on a slope and is open, there are very few fences between the other cottages. If you bring a dog it would be best to keep it on a lead in the garden and not allowed to roam freely, especially as sometimes sheep are close by grazing. The garden is left natural to encourage wildlife and may not suit everyone's idea of a garden, as it is not neat and tidy, like some may prefer. Please note that there are different levels and care is needed with young children and this with mobility issues.
