The house is located at the south end of Lake Willoughby, nestled between Mt. Pisgah and Mt. Hor with access to multiple trails for hiking the NEK. There is a dock across the street & allows easy entrance for kayaks, paddle boards, and swimming. Lake Willoughby is a crystal clear lake stocked with fish from the local hatchery. (Check lake laws for Willoughby Lake for use of certain water crafts.) The house is located about 10 miles from Kingdom Trails in East Burke, VT. 2024 solar eclipse. With over 10 acres of land, there is plenty of parking on the property, which makes it convenient for bike or boat trailers. There is a dock located across from the driveway, which provides easy access for kayaks and paddleboards. White Caps Campground is located next to this lake house that rents paddleboards and kayaks. The store prepares food and has some groceries. There is a mountain bike trail in Burke that is only about 10 miles away. Great dining is available within 10 miles of this property. The kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, and living room are all on one floor. It has recently been renovated. This rental property is the main house. There is a deck with a grill, table and chairs. Down below there is a fire pit and large lawn area. A camper is on the premises that gives privacy to the fire pit. If you have extra company you could also rent. There’s a dock for loading of paddle boards and kayaks into the lake right across the road. Just down the road is a state boat launch. We are not always at our apartment next door, but we can be reached by email or phone. We have a maintenance person next door at the campground, if needed. This location is close to Burke Mountain and the NEK bike trails. It’s just down the road from the access points to the hiking trails. There’s a dock for easy entrance to Lake Willoughby across the road. Always accompany children when crossing the road. The hiking trails can be walked or biked to. There’s a campground store right next door that makes some food and has some supplies. There is a store with quite a few groceries, take-out menu, and ice cream shop about 4 miles down the road, toward the other end of the lake. The owners apartment is connected to the house. The owners may be there when the house is rented out. The entrance and parking is separate.
