Stunning character cottage: Spaxton Quantock Hills

The Old Stable at Bush Farmhouse, Spaxton is nestled in a beautiful Farmhouse garden at the foot of the glorious Quantock Hills. Spacious, fully equipped, oozing with character & sleeping up to 5 guests. A peaceful haven to relax & a perfect base to explore the scenic hills and wildlife, enjoy horse riding, cycling, fishing, pub lunches, cream teas & trips to the coast. A sunny courtyard and lawn with pretty garden views & a cosy wood burner for those wintry months. The space Inside the Old Stable there is a large open plan kitchen/living/dining area and a large bedroom area divided into two by an antique original Stable stall. There is a double bed on each side of the stable stall. There is a shower room with an electric shower, a wood burning stove, private south facing courtyard and small lawned area and ample parking to the front of the farmhouse. Guest access Guests would have exclusive use of The Old Stable and the adjoining courtyard and small lawned area. Please do not access our private orchard and garden area near the farmhouse unless invited by us. Other things to note We have a flock of Wiltshire Horn sheep and a working cocker spaniel on site. Sacks of firewood for the woodburner can be purchased from us for £10 each. These can be requested in advance and ready for you on arrival. We are happy to host your dog, however please bring their bed and towels for muddy paws and keep on a lead outside at all times. One dog only please and not to be left unattended. There is a bbq available on request. Please bring your own charcoal. Where possible we do offer earlier check ins or later check outs and charge £10/hr for this service. Please do not invite visitors without running it by us. We are only insured for the no of people on the booking. Parking available for two cars. Thank you x
