Other things to note HOTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS ✅ LOCATION: Please note, our hotel is not beachfront but is within walking distance to the beach. For direct bookings on FB Page and Airbnb, we readily provide location details, while on other OTA booking platforms feature our location on Google Maps. For added comfort, transport assistance is available, subject to availability, for pregnant women, seniors, and guests with disabilities. ✅ UPON CHECK-IN: A printed booking confirmation and valid ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID) are required at check-in. This policy ensures guest security, accurate records, and compliance with local regulations. ✅ EARLY CHECK-IN and LATE CHECK-OUT are available based on availability at ₱200/hour before 1:00 p.m. and after 11:00 a.m. Please contact reception to reserve. Baggage drop-off is also available. ✅ COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST is served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM daily. This offering, available as part of our promotional rate, includes one set breakfast per guest and depends on kitchen availability. Complimentary breakfast is provided based on the number of guests occupying the room and **cannot be converted to lunch or dinner**. Alternative menu options can be ordered at regular prices. For early, late, or packed breakfasts, a ₱50 fee per person applies to cover additional staff and take-out costs. ✅ HOTEL ROOM CHECKLIST is provided upon check-in. This checklist is designed to ensure that everything in the room is in good condition upon arrival. If you notice any concerns or issues with items or amenities in the room, please bring them to the attention of our reception team right away. ✅ HOTEL ROOM DESIGN & LIGHTING: Rooms feature warm, ambient lighting for a cozy atmosphere and minimalist bed designs for comfort and style. Room setup photos were shared prior to booking for transparency. For any concerns or adjustments, please contact reception. ✅ HOTEL EQUIPMENTS & FURNITURES: Altering, moving, or removing hotel furniture or equipment is prohibited. For any adjustments or assistance, please contact reception or staff. ✅ VISITORS AND ROOM USAGE: Only registered guests are allowed on the premises. Visitors or extra persons are not permitted in guest rooms. An additional charge of Php 1000 per person per night applies for undeclared guests. Rooms cannot be transferred to third parties for security and proper management. ✅ ROOM SECURITY: Keep your room locked at all times. Room keys must be returned to reception when leaving or checking out. A lost key will incur a ₱500 charge, and if no spare key is available, the cost of replacing the lock will be charged. ✅ VALUABLES: Do not leave valuables in the room. Superior rooms have mini safes, while other room types can store valuables at the reception. **Rold & Roub Home Suites** is not liable for any losses. ✅ POWER SAVING & SAFETY: Please turn off lights, TVs, AC units, and faucets before leaving. Rold & Roub Home Suites may turn off any items left on. For safety, avoid overloading outlets and unplug all devices. Following this helps reduce energy use and ensures staff won't need to enter your room. Thank you for supporting our sustainable practices. ✅ TOILETRIES: Each guest is provided with one bath towel, shampoo, and body wash upon check-in. Refills are available upon request. Please note that these are the only toiletries provided; other items are not included. Towels and toiletries are for in-room use only; loss or damage will incur a replacement fee. ✅ HOTEL LINEN & CLEANING POLICY: Towels and bedsheets are changed every 3rd night for hygiene and sustainability. Each guest is provided with one pillow and one towel, while flat sheets are provided per bed for shared use. Extra fleece blankets and bedding can be requested for a minimal charge. Please note that towels are not for beach use; beach towels are available for ₱100. Daily room cleaning is available upon request — please inform reception in advance. ✅ ADDITIONAL PAYMENT FOR STAINED, MISSING, OR DAMAGED BEDSHEETS, TOWELS, OR HOTEL ITEMS AND FACILITIES will be charged upon check-out for replacement or cleaning to the guest’s account. Charges are posted at the front desk. Any damage to the room or hotel property should be reported to our reception immediately after it becomes apparent. ✅ SMOKING is prohibited inside the room. Designated smoking areas are outside the Hotel. Violators will be penalized in the amount of Php 2500. ✅ QUITE HOURS is 10:00 p.m to 9:00 a.m. Televisions, voices and other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly to ensure a peaceful environment for all our guests. ✅ HANGING ITEMS in guest room windows or terraces is prohibited to maintain the hotel’s appearance. Please use the designated area for drying or ask for assistance. ✅ ROOM DECORATION: Guests may decorate for special occasions but must avoid using adhesive materials like tape or stickers that can damage surfaces. Use non-damaging options like removable hooks. Any damage caused will incur charges for repair or replacement. ✅ EXTRA PERSON AND FREE OF CHARGE: An additional charge of Php 500 per person per night applies for extra guests beyond the booked number. One infant (0-12 months) per room stays free, while additional infants or toddlers incur a Php 500 charge per night. ✅ EXTENDED RESERVATION: Extended stays are subject to room availability. Please inform reception in advance. If guests stay beyond check-out without prior notice, they may be charged an additional fee or have their belongings removed to accommodate incoming guests. ✅ FOOD POLICY: Eating inside rooms is prohibited to avoid pests. A designated dining area is available—please contact reception for assistance. Outside food, cooked items, alcoholic drinks, and beverages are not allowed; a 20% service charge applies for consumption of such items on the premises. ✅ KITCHEN & COOKING POLICY: Electrical cooking appliances are not allowed in rooms. A common kitchen is available for Php 500 per room per day, covering gas, fridge, griller, and kitchenware. An extra charge applies for using a rice cooker or electric water heater. Kitchen usage is until 9:00 PM, and guests must clean up after themselves. ✅ FREE WATER: Please note that bottled water is not provided in rooms, but guests can enjoy complimentary hot and cold water from the dispenser at Goodelights Restaurant. For coffee or tea, hot water is also accessible at the same location, as water heaters are not provided in rooms. ✅ PET POLICY: The Hotel needs to be notified and request for any type of pets needs to be addressed to the management days before arrival. The pet may not remain in the accommodation alone and unguarded. Any damages caused by the pet will be charged to the guest’s account. A one-time per-stay per-room pet cleaning fee of 500.00 will apply. Small pets only are allowed. ✅ ITEMS LEFT BEHIND: Items left behind by a guest will be sent by post to any address specified by the guest, at the guest’s expense, upon request. If no specific instructions are provided, the hotel will store the items for 15 days. After this period, items will be donated to a charitable cause. ✅ WiFi is free, but signal strength may vary due to network limitations in Puerto Galera, congestion, room location, equipment status, and interference from local providers. ✅ STANDBY GENERATOR: The hotel has a standby generator for power during outages, but it may be briefly turned off for maintenance and cooling to prevent overheating. During these brief shutdowns, some services may be temporarily interrupted. We strive to minimize disruptions and restore full power quickly. ✅ PARKING is at guests' own risk; the hotel is not liable for theft, damage, or loss. Parking is for guests, customers, and authorized visitors only. Park in designated spaces and avoid blocking entrances. EV bike charging stations are unavailable nearby, but limited hotel charging is offered for a fee. Report suspicious activity or parking issues to hotel staff immediately. ✅ SENIOR CITIZEN & PWD DISCOUNTS: Senior Citizen and PWD cards are accepted for a 20% discount and VAT exemption on services at regular rates. Discounts cannot be combined, and guests can claim either the senior citizen or PWD discount, not both. These discounts do not apply to hotel or restaurant promotions, bundled meals, group meals, or bilao food options. ✅ SPECIAL REQUEST/S: Not all requests may be guaranteed but we will make every effort to honor special requests. Requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. ✅ FERRY ASSISTANCE: Our team provides complimentary ferry assistance, helping you with ticketing guidance and travel tips. However, please note that we are not responsible for any ferry delays, cancellations, or schedule changes, as these are beyond our control. We encourage guests to plan accordingly and check directly with ferry operators for the latest updates. ✅ FREE PORT TRANSFERS: are available only for packages, covering Balatero Port. Direct B&B bookings and OTA bookings do not include free transfers. Transfers from Muelle, Poblacion, or Calapan Ports are available for an extra fee. ✅ HOTEL BOOKING CHANNELS AND REFUND POLICY: Rold & Roub Home Suites by Cocotel is our authorized partner on select Online Travel Agency (OTA) platforms. For any rebooking, cancellation, or refund requests on OTA reservations, guests must contact the respective OTA directly, as payments and booking terms are managed solely by them. The hotel is **not liable** for any issues related to OTA bookings, including payment disputes, refund processing, or policy changes. ✅ WEEKEND RATE POLICY: Fridays are classified under **weekend rates** due to high demand and increased occupancy. All stays on Fridays are subject to weekend or peak pricing structures, in line with industry standards and operational requirements. ✅ TOUR PACKAGES: By booking our tour packages, guests acknowledge and accept responsibility for their safety, well-being, and conduct during all tour activities. Our hotel assists in coordinating these experiences in collaboration with licensed local providers; however, we are not liable for any incidents, injuries, or losses that may occur during the tours. Guests are required to comply with all municipal regulations set forth by the Municipality of Puerto Galera for island and inland tours. For their own safety, we encourage guests to follow the guidance and instructions provided by tour operators at all times. ✅ EXPECTATIONS OF CONDUCT: Our staff were trained to be courteous and professional to our guests at all times. Likewise, all guests within the Hotel premises are expected to treat our staff with respect. Any form of threat or similar act against our staff will not be tolerated and will be met with appropriate action, including prosecution if warranted. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect, dignity and safety for all individuals within the Hotel. ✅ ENFORCEMENT OF POLICIES: All Hotel policies will be strictly enforced by the Hotel staff. Guests failing to comply with these policies may be asked to confirm or may face additional charges or penalties. ✅ EVICTION: Rooms, facilities and services may only be used for lawful, peaceful and orderly purposes. Rold & Roub Home Suites reserves the right to refuse continuance of stay of any guests who does otherwise. ✅ GUEST INFORMATION & COMPLIANCE: To ensure a smooth stay, the booking person must communicate all rules to their group.
