Description
Come and stay in our beautiful, homely farmhouse. Set in the foot hills of Mount Buffalo, on 1 acre of land with many trees and birds, our farmhouse can be your home away from home. Enjoy bushwalks from the front step, watch the sunset in the valley from the back seating area, swim or fish in one of the two rivers that run near the borders of the property or ride bikes to spectacular Lake Buffalo. Cosy up next to one of 2 fire places inside, or bake a cake in the traditional country kitchen. The space We have plenty of room to move, with a paddock to run free in and veggie patches and fruit trees to help yourself to. Inside you'll find a comfortable and cosy living space, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a cosy, rustic country kitchen. A 'summer' lounge with a Bakers Oven fire place and wrap around windows to watch the bird life in the garden. As well as a 'winter' lounge with an open fire and floor to ceiling bookcases filled with books for you to peruse, with lovely views of the back of the property. Accomodation for up to 7 people (plus infants). Main Bedroom has a Queen size bed, glass doors onto a patio area with views through the valley and a private ensuite. Bedroom 2 (upstairs) is a spacious area with two single beds and a fireplace. Perfect for kids, with some kids toys and books available. Bedroom 3 has a Queen size bed and a Single bed. Guests are welcome to bring their own portacots for infants. 2 X bathrooms with toilets, showers and vanities. Lounge has aTV and DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities. PETS ON REQUEST ONLY. Guest access The whole house, back and side yards are for guest use. Please note, if you go through a gate that was shut, remember to shut it behind you. NO SMOKING inside or within 5 metres of the house. Take your butts with you. Other things to note Telstra service only at the property. The house is lived in, so please be mindful and respectful of any personal effects left.
