The second sleeping area is a loft that sleeps 6 but has no partitions. ( a Queen size bed with two twin mattresses (on the floor). It's location is convenient to town and Acadia which is less than an hour away (to the pier at Bar Harbor not the town line of MDI). There are many activities to choose from, shopping in Bangor and great restaurants! Go to the Bagel Shop in Bangor along with Franks Bakery. It is only 7 miles or 12 minutes to Bangor. Another hidden gem is The Transportation Museum in Bangor. It is less than an hour drive to the pier in Bar Harbor otherwise called Acadia National Park where there are plenty of things to do such as: Whale watching tours, Bike trail tours, Hiking (you need to stop by the Acadia National Park and find the trails you want to hike), Drive up Mt, Cadillac, Sail on a Clipper Ship etc.. This is located on Davis/Eddington Pond and has great fishing.
