Croughly Cottage

Situated in the stunning Cairngorms National Park only two miles from the picturesque village of Tomintoul, Croughly Cottage is set in an idyllic location. The cottage retains its character as the 16th century wing of the farmhouse. It has been carefully restored to have a warm cottage feel, yet still retains a great amount of character from the past. The space The cottage is a fabulous space to enjoy a relaxing stay in the Cairngorms National Park. Surrounded by fabulous scenery, walks and cycle trails it is the perfect spot to enjoy a short break in Scotland. The cottage has a spacious living room, with wood burning stove for cooler nights. A well equipped kitchen allows you to enjoy creating your own meals. The two bedrooms on the first floor are comfortable and spacious, allowing you to get a good nights sleep before your next days adventures. For those wishing to explore the outdoors there is a secure bike storage area and drying area for outdoor clothes. During summer there is also a patio and garden area to sit back and relax soaking up the stunning views down the valley. Guest access The cottage is let on an exclusive use basis, so you have the property to yourselves during your stay. Other things to note Please note that there is a coin meter located in the kitchen for power. Average usage is around £3 per day. All wood and coal for the stove in the lounge is provided free of charge.
