Hamilton House, village cottage 10 mins from beach

Hamilton House is situated in the heart of this coastal village and a half mile's level walk to the wide pebble beach and sea. The house is situated down a private no through road at the end of which starts the footpath to the beach. The footpath itself is a delightful walk through the fields and alongside a stream before reaching the extensive pebble beach with rock pools, car park, delightful tearoom and a shop. Hamilton House is an ideal holiday venue for families with small children. The space Branscombe is undoubtedly one of East Devon's most sought after coastal villages, situated just inland from the Jurassic Coast, the World Heritage Coastline along Lyme Bay and nestling among some of East Devon's most glorious countryside, much of which is owned by the National Trust and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hamilton House is tucked away in a quite street in the centre of this historic village and walking distance to all the village attractions. Please note that there is only one (1) dedicated car parking space in the property. Branscombe is a very old and historic village and hence whilst free, additional parking is available on a “first come, first serve” basis. Guest access You'll have the whole house to yourself save for a small owner's locker in the downstairs storage area. Other things to note All kids (including babies) are very welcome. We have fitted stair gates (at top and bottom of staircase) to protect the little ones. We have plenty of board games and kids books and games available at the house. Additionally, there are many lovely outdoor activities available in the area as well as walking coastal paths. PLEASE NOTE: 1. There is only one (1) designated car parking space at the house. This is a very old village and whilst there is free parking in the village, this is on a “first come first serve” basis. 2. The back garden is relatively small and on a slight slope (with a few stairs up from the patio).
