The Anchorage, Family Friendly,Views, plus Kayaks

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided. The space The Anchorage enjoys 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with private parking for as many as 6 cars at the back plus well maintained large gardens affording stunning views. It has a static caravan at the back that is used for storage only. It is only 50 yards from the local bar/restaurant Within the large garden guests will find a large decking area with tables and chairs perfect for alfresco dining or simply enjoying a wine or coffee during the day. There is now a fantastic BBQ hut for barbecuing inside on colder days or nights and is extremely warm and cosy, sitting 6 people comfortably. Along with another outside BBQ and a large Pizza Oven there is also a fire pit for the more adventurous plus a large covered patio when required. There is even an outside sink. Children can be kept amused with the outside play room which holds a pool table, football table and table tennis plus more. Along with this the Swing set plus the large trampoline make the cottage very family friendly. Kayaks ( 2 x single and 1 x double) are provided free of charge with life jackets and waterproof shoes included (waiver form supplied if guests wish to use)) The garden has plenty of space for guests to relax and a wide range of walks are available on the doorstep including a path at the back that leads to the 3 loch's way - spectacular views!! Being next to the water there is a wide choice of activities for everyone to enjoy including fishing, Kayaking or combing the pebble beach and the wildlife includes Porpoises, Gannets, Little Auks, Cormorants, the odd whale plus so much more. You can watch the deer on the hill from the garden or the many birds of prey. The cottage itself consists of a large sitting room with inbuilt bluetooth speakers and a large 50" smart tv coupled with a beautiful wood burning stove for those cosy nights. The large 6 seat dining table sits at the patio doors with amazing views of the loch and hills where guests can watch the wildlife as they dine. The modern kitchen has a large oven with grill and a 4 ring electric hob enabling guests to cook easily and with plenty of space. All cookware, plates and cutlery are provided plus a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, slow cooker and microwave. Everything is catered for.The washing machine is also located in the kitchen. A beautiful bathroom with a twin bath and overhead shower is also located downstairs. Upstairs leads to the 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms with 2 having double beds plus ensuite shower rooms. The 3rd bedroom is the twin room. All the bedrooms have amazing views plus a smart tv to watch your favourite films in bed. All towels and bedding will be provided and the cottage is equipped with all you need for your stay. For younger children a high chair and cot can be provided on request. The Anchorage is heated with gas central heating, a wood burning stove and has broadband. Other things to note I have 3 Kayaks ( 1 x Double and 2 x Singles) that guests can use free of charge. Life jackets and waterproof shoes will be provided. The neighbour uses the front gate and path for access to her house however the back garden is totally private.
