Featuring your own lounge, deck area, bathroom and kitchenette, as well as a private entrance and car park, which complete this retreat in an exclusive gated community. The space The Sky apartment is an open plan one-bedroom apartment, with views from every room. The mezzanine bedroom has a queen size bed with Sheridan feather topper and quality high thread count linen. Full walk-in wardrobe provides plenty of storage and it is here we keep Turkish cotton beach towels and cotton bathrobes for guest use. A small motel-style kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave oven, hot plate and some kitchen essentials to cook a basic meal, should you wish. We also provide a complimentary plunger coffee, tea, sugar, long-life milk, as well as cooking basics such as virgin olive oil, salt and pepper etc. In the bathroom you will find towels, a hairdryer, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and soaps for a luxury hotel-style stay. The small lounge area features a comfortable couch and smart TV with pre-loaded apps such as Netflix, Neon and TVNZ on demand. A small desk area with two dining chairs enables working or dining options and of course we have unlimited free WiFi on fibre speeds. The lounge area leads onto your private deck with million-dollar views of the entire length of the beach and out to Mayor Island. There's a table and chairs for outdoor dining and drinks and a sun lounger for reading your favourite book or working on your tan. This is a small, fully self-contained apartment, joined to but private from the main house. You will have your own parking space and external entrance. The apartment is private and quiet and you will not be able to see or hear any areas of the main house. Please note that you access the apartment by walking up a semi-steep driveway then a set of reasonably steep external stairs. It’s an easy 5 min walk down through the gorgeous estate gardens and across the road to access either Waihi Beach or Anzac Bay. What are you waiting for - treat yourself! Guest access You have the whole apartment including the bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom with a separate external staircase access and a private park. There is a door into the main house within this apartment that is kept locked at all times for complete privacy. You have access to an upstairs deck that is partitioned and private to the main house upstairs deck. Other things to note Please note the stairs required to access the apartment, these are skinny and plastered in true Greek style which can be slippery when wet, some older guests find them difficult to navigate.
