Other things to note Amaia Steps Parkway Nuvali is the perfect base-camp for those who want to enjoy what Nuvali and the nearby provinces has to offer such as: 1. BIKE TRAILS: Leisure biking the on-road trails and mountain biking the off-road trails in and around Nuvali. The mountain bike trail of Nuvali has a secured and beginner-friendly environment designed for all levels of bikers particularly beginners. Advanced cyclists will surely enjoy this too. 2. NUVALI JOGGING & WALKING PATH: New, 5-km long dedicated running and walking path at the middle of Nuvali Boulevard stretching from Nuvali South to Nuvali North CBD area. 3. NUVALI DRIVING RANGE IS NOW OPEN! ⛳️ Grab your clubs and enjoy a day of golfing fun. Open seven days a week, from 6:00am to 10:00pm. Rate is ONLY 400 Php per hour. Only 5 mins drive from the property. 4. WILDLIFE AND BIRD SANCTUARY: Nuvali Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary has set aside a 17-kilometer long buffer green and forest zone which will serve as a sanctuary for wildlife and birds in the area. This is just near Camp N and there's no entrance fee to watch birds. It's best to go here early in the morning between 6 AM TO 9 AM or late in the afternoon past 4 PM when birds are usually on the trees chirping away. There's a long but easy trail you can follow and a shed beside a mini-lagoon where you can rest. 5. MAN-MADE LAKE AND AYALA MALLS SOLENAD: Lakeside activities like fish-feeding, riding a taxi boat around the lake or just picnicking by the lake. Ayala Malls Solenad is also close to the lake and you could enjoy the many shops and restaurants within a short drive from our place (10-min drive). 6. STA. ELENA FUN FARM: Horseback riding, hopping on a cart pulled by Carabaos, feeding farm animals or just simply enjoying a myriad of outdoor activities offered by Sta. Elena Fun Farm. Daily rate for kids and adults is 400 Php (8 USD) and 320 Php (6 USD) for Senior Citizens and PWD. (NOTE: Don't use Waze! Just check the site or ask us for directions , it's only 15 mins drive). 7. WOODSIDE FARM AND WATERPARK: Enjoy the pools and the giant slides of Laguna's newest and modern water theme park, the Woodside Farm and Waterpark (13-min drive). Weekend rates for adults is only 399 Php (8 USD) and 319 Php (6 USD) for kids/PWD/and seniors. 8. CANLUBANG GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB: Also known as Can Golf, this private golf club is one of the biggest in Luzon with 36 holes. This is quite literally just behind the condominium but you have to drive 11 mins to get there since the paved road that will someday lead to it is still not yet built. It's sister club, the world-class, Sta. Elena Golf & Country Club is also a short 25-min drive from our place. 9. ENCHANTED KINGDOM: The country's Premier amusement park, EK is just a short 25-minute drive from our place. Day Tour packages cost 500Php (9.5 USD) for kids and Senior Citizens and 800Php (15 USD) for adults on weekdays and 900 Php (17 USD) on holidays and weekends. 10. RIZAL SHRINE: Our condo is basically still part of Calamba and, as one knows, Calamba is also where Jose Rizal, Philippines' National Hero was born and raised. His family's Spanish-Colonial styled house is just a short 37-min drive from our place and we personally enjoy going there and just soaking at history as it is now a Museum open for public. There's no entrance fee and you can just donate to show your appreciation of the place. 11. HOT SPRINGS OF CALAMBA: The Barangay of Pansol, Calamba Laguna, is situated at the foot of Mount Makiling and is only a 38-min drive and well known for its numerous natural hot springs. Your options are just vast, from high-end (88 Hot Spring, Sol Y Viento, etc) to reasonable (Dona Jovita, Summer Place, etc) to the affordable and good old Laguna Hot Spring Resort (open 24 hours a day for the past 60 years!). Our personal favorites are Dona Jovita and Likas Hot Spring for its value for the money. 12. HIDDEN VALLEY SPRINGS: Just one hour and 23 mins drive away (46 kms), in Calauan, Laguna, you'll find a secluded place that is perfect for a quiet retreat. Set amid acres of tropical rainforest, this laid-back resort and natural springs attraction is 9 minutes' walk from Hidden Valley Falls, and 5 km from the Pan-Philippine Highway. 13. LUMOT LAKE: Chill or Thrill on this lake at the foot of Sierra Madre Mountain range in Cavinti, Laguna. This is only 2 hours drive away from the condo. You can do camping, kayaking, bass fishing, and other water sports activities in this lake. 14. NEARBY PROVINCE OF LOS BANOS, TAGAYTAY, AND BATANGAS: A short drive outside Nuvali opens up to a whole new list of wonderful places to visit. Hiking Mount Makiling and visiting its Botanical Gardens, hiking the crater of Taal Volcano, visiting parks (Sky Ranch, People's Park in the Sky, Picnic Grove, etc) and museums (Puzzle Museum, Orlina Museum, etc) of Tagaytay, and enjoying the beaches of Batangas are just some of the things you can explore near Nuvali (1 to 2 hours drive away).
