Spuds Retreat - 1 bedroom with separate lounge

Comfy converted garage with separate bed and lounge. The space is detached from the main house in a convenient peaceful location. A southern GC suburb close to the M1 yet quiet, with beaches and a major shopping centre at your doorstep. Airport 20mins away, all theme parks between 20-30mins away and beaches 15mins away. Wi-Fi, Netflix and air conditioning included. Parking right outside your own private entrance. Dog friendly but sorry NO cats. Rules apply The space The accommodation is detached but close to our house. We have an acreage with various sitting areas that you are free to use, there is also a private paved area with a table and chairs within your guest area Its really lovely in the morning with a cup of tea or the evening with a glass of wine sitting outside listening to the birdsong. Tea/coffee facilities included plus toaster, microwave, bar fridge & BBQ also for your convenience. Smoking is permitted BUT outdoors only. If dogs are toilet trained they are welcome inside as long as you take them out for toileting. If they aren't toilet trained then they need to be outside. We have a great outside area for them complete with kennel and dog bed, water bowls undercover area and open grassed area. Dog area is fenced. Sorry NO cats. Guest access Private entrance. Key will be in a lock box. Code given prior to arrival. Other things to note Out of our 380+ reviews I have had a minority number of people suggest the coffee, tea, microwave etc be placed in the lounge area. The reason they aren't is firstly power and placement of them and the second the aesthetics. We want this room to be calm and relaxing not filled with clutter so the set up we have works best. We apologise if this is not to your liking. We have also had some senior people with mobility issues find navigating around the bed to the bathroom difficult. There is enough room to get around and we had to make the compromise to have a queen bed rather than a double. We do not want the bed in the lounge as it then becomes a studio where the TV area and sleeping area aren't separated. We also run a business hiring out mini excavators from our property. This has not affected the airbnb space to date but please communicate with us if this is an issue during your stay. We appreciate feedback and will remedy if we can.
