Moulin en Route is a small B&B located in and near an old restored watermill (1883). The B&B has 4 spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms and various guest rooms. The watermill is located on a small river/lake overlooking the orchard and garden with various sheltered seats for peace and relaxation. The B&B is close to the N12 and A28. Ideal for a stopover or for a multi-day vacation and visit the beautiful picturesque villages or the city of Le Mans. The space "Wit" is a bedroom (1st floor) with minibar and a double, box spring bed and a luxury sofa bed for 1 child. The bathroom is next to it. Above room white is room gray with extra long box spring bed and here you will also find a luxury sofa bed for 1 child. Room gray can only be booked with families or friends because you have to share the bathroom with room white. On the first floor is the guest living room with TV and fireplace. The whole garden is for the guests. Everywhere there are cozy seats on the water, also by the orchard and the poplar forest. The mill has a small lake with a lock and a waterfall. The hostess cooks, and you can enjoy a delicious dinner with wine in the large kitchen. In good weather, you can eat under the covered canopy at long tables, with enough distance due to Corona safety. A BBQ package can be booked in good weather. There is a fridge with drinks, and ordering a cheese board is always possible. The old watermill consists of two houses with four bedrooms, and for each room there is a private bathroom. All bedrooms have their own entrance. Next to the authentic kitchen is a passage through which the water flows. The living room with TV and fireplace is for guests only. Bird lovers can enjoy the fantastic bird sounds, and with a bit of luck, you can spot the Kingfishers. The mill house is located on the outskirts of the hamlet of Bléves in the Perche region with lots of greenery, actually an oasis of peace in the sloping backdrop landscape of the French department of Normandy, against the Sarthe. Nearby are two nature parks and the cities of Alençon and Le Mans, known for the 13.65 km long "Circuit de la Sarthe" circuit, which takes place annually in the second weekend of June. The area lends itself well to more sporty activities: canoeing, hiking, biking and, for example, horseback riding. There are also fantastic castle routes and beautiful cathedrals. Guest access You can come here by car and park behind the electric fence in the garden (there is room for 3 cars). For cycling enthusiasts, there are beautiful cycling routes and you can park your bike under the canopy. You can rent a bike here in the area. During your stay Upon arrival, you will receive a tour of the mill. I make breakfast in the morning and, if you feel like it, dinner, which I join myself, but an intimate private dining is of course possible. I live with dog Gin in the other building next to the mill house. Other things to note Only dogs are allowed and please in consultation. Maximum 2 dogs, costs for this are 5 euros per day per dog. Unfortunately, cats are not welcome here. Breakfast is €10 pp. 3-course dinner €22.50 pp. Wines/soft drinks and spirits/beer are available. There may be other guests in 1 of the 2 houses, but there are plenty of seats in and around the house so there is a lot of privacy. There is a minibar in the bedroom. Fresh coffee and tea are always freely available during the morning.
