The space THE NEIGHBORHOOD - Nestled in the famous Movie Colony, The Retreat is your home away from home. Walking distance to the hip Uptown Design District and bustling Downtown, you are only moments away from the best in Dining and Shopping. The Retreat is centrally located to all of the best that Palm Springs has to offer - museums, galleries spas, golfing, coffee houses, casinos and plenty of nightlife. You can either relax the day away floating in our stunning 40’ saltwater pool or take the tram (only moments away) up to the crest of the San Jacinto Mountains for a hike and picnic and stunning views of the valley. We are located only 2 blocks from beautiful Ruth Hardy Park, which features play structures for the kids, walking trails and ample tennis courts and a basketball court if you are feeling a bit more competitive. THE SPACE Let our home be your Palm Springs desert getaway. The Retreat has all of the amenities you will ever need to enjoy your perfect Palm Springs vacation. With beautiful views of the San Jacinto Mountains, The Retreat is a classic 2500 Square foot mid-century ranch style home featuring a modern living room and formal dining room and a separate poolside T.V. lounge. The Retreat is perfect for 1 to 2 families or a large group. Dual Master Suites at opposite ends of the property allows for maximum privacy. The west end Master Suite houses a King Bed; the east side Master Suite has 2 Queen beds (separated by a privacy wall), which is perfect for a family to share. Both Masters feature en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. The 3rd bedroom has yet another King bed and the 4th bedroom has two twin beds. Both of these bedrooms share a large bathroom with a full shower/tub combination. All beds are adorned with fluffy down comforters and each bedroom is equipped with an HDTV. There is plenty of space for your group to enjoy different activities. Spend some time lounging in the modern living room reading a book as others enjoy watching sports and movies on our 85” Samsung Smart T.V. Entertaining couldn’t be easier while preparing meals in our fully equipped kitchen. We have a full array of cooking essentials. Pots, pans, serving bowls, platters, etc. Enjoy your meal in the formal dining room that overlooks our stunning night lit pool or dine al fresco under the stars. Surrounded by beautiful 15’ foot Ficus hedges and large expanses of grass, Sunset Villa offers complete gated privacy and tranquility. Our extra large backyard with a 40’ salt-water pool is reminiscent of movie star glamour. It is absolutely perfect for doing laps or simply floating and chilling out. There are plenty of chaises and seating to catch up on your tan as you lounge by the pool or relax in the Jacuzzi. Cool off under our Professional Misting system as well as ample umbrellas located throughout. Rafts, pool toys and games are provided for your enjoyment. The patio area is complete with an outdoor dining table and BBQ. Don’t forget to tour the neighborhood, uptown and downtown with one of the many bikes provided. Golf clubs and tennis rackets are on site for your enjoyment. We are confident that you will enjoy your stay at The Retreat. Your happiness and comfort is our utmost priority. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house and back yard. Other things to note Thank you so much for choosing The Retreat @ Palm Springs for your vacation. Here are a few things to note before your stay. • Monthly rentals of 29 Nights or more are responsible for utilities. A $1,500 Utility Deposit is required. This is only a deposit. You will only be charged for what you use. Multiple month stays will be accessed on a monthly basis. • For Monthly rentals of 29 nights or more, you are responsible to pay for utilities you use during your stay - including pool heat. • Pool Heat will be charged on a Daily Basis for bookings less than 29 nights. A Pool Heating charge of $50.00 a day will be assessed if Pool Heat is requested (for short term rental). If a pre-heat is requested you will assessed 1 additional day. • The city of Palm Springs requires the Responsible party (Renter/Guest) must be at least 25 years of age, per city law, to sign the rental agreement. The Renter must provide a copy of a government issued ID in person upon arrival. • A Rental Agreement must be completed and signed prior to occupancy. This will be provided upon reservation. • Please be respectful of our neighbors. We ask that there be no amplified music and absolutely NO parties. No noise should be heard beyond the perimeter of the property. This is a citywide ordinance that affects all rental properties in Palm Springs. Quite time is from 10pm – 10am. Please familiarize yourself with the “Good Neighbor” policy that has been set forth from the city of Palm Springs. • A $75.00 per day fee will be charged for pool heating for a Short term stay. • We have a strict indoor NON-SMOKING policy. • We allow up to 2 dogs for a non-refundable fee of $200.00 per 29 nights. If your stay is longer than 29 nights we will work with you on price. This is for normal pet wear and tear and housekeeping surcharge for extra cleaning. Failure to disclose pets will result in you being asked to leave the property. • Absolutely NO dogs allowed in the pool. The hair clogs the drain and if found you will incur an additional $200.00 fee. • Housekeeping can provide full cleaning services and linen changes at an extra charge and will require pre-approval.
