The space Inhabiting a 400-year-old farmhouse with unique architectural features and converted to a high-standard residence offering comfort, charm and relaxation, Dar tal-Kaptan Holiday accommodation features 4 themed suites, all with their own bathroom, private lounge areas, and outdoor terraces with fantastic views. Each exquisitely decorated suite has a small fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, a toaster, a hairdryer, air-conditioning and fans, Cable TV and DVD player, wi-fi access, complimentary toiletries, and towels. This home exudes warmth and sensuality with its eclectic collection of art, sculptures, paintings and books. Indulge your Inner Child ....Driftwood beach meets colourful candy store in this whimsical, magical suite which comes with its own spacious and private courtyard and access to a large sun terrace with country views. This suite consists of two separate rooms: a bedroom and a lounge/ kitchenette (with a sofa bed) and a bathroom. Interesting fact: Where this suite is now located, a sunken garden used to exist. The original pine furniture has been custom distressed by a local furniture designer. Guest access During their stay guests can avail themselves of an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, book and DVD library, and several relaxation lounges. Boat/ sailing trips During your stay Your host will be available to answer any queries you may have, provide additional services (see below), offer restaurant and sight-seeing recommendations, and suggest and book activities such as Scuba-diving, Jeep Safaris, Quad-Bike tours, Craft and Ceramic Classes, Fishing Trips, Private Boat Charting, Kayaking, Agri-Tourism and Wine Tasting, Beauty treatments, Yoga Classes and more. Other things to note Due to the different levels and stairs of this historic structure, the residence is unsuitable for persons with mobility difficulties. Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets as we have garden cats. The guest house is for adults only. PLEASE NOTE As of 1st June 2016, the Maltese Government has introduced an eco-tax of 0.50 cents per person per night (up to a maximum payment of 5 euros, even for stays over 10 days) payable by both Maltese and Foreign Nationals. This is NOT included in your booking fee, will be charged separately and is only payable in cash. We are also now compelled by law to take down your passport/ID Card details, so please have them present on arrival.
