Big room in the basement of a detached house on an open concept bedroom/living room. A double bed and a futon in the living area. No kitchenette, or microwave or washing machine. There is a coffee maker and a fridge (usually unplugged, but feel free to plug in). This is not a self contained unit. Quiet and upscale neighborhood. 5 minutes walk to the Line 1 subway which takes less than 15 minutes to downtown Toronto. Suitable for a small family or couple since there is no private bedroom. The space The house is newly built, 5 minutes walk to the line 1 subway line. Separate entrance and lots of privacy. The room is open concept, one big room with sleeping and living area. We occupy other floors and may request access to the basement if needed (to access the circuit breaker or the furnace etc). Guest access Access limited to the room in the basement. During your stay Through airbnb chat. Other things to note Zero tolerance on smoking. This place is not pet friendly. We do not offer parking. The driveway is shared, so no stopping at any time allowed. Municipal parking is available a block away. The room that you get, for the price you pay ( which is comparatively lesser than similarly situated lsitings) is a basic, but clean, big and comfortable room, with a private washroom. There is no kitchen or any cooking facility, including a kettle. I do not provide any amenities that is not mentioned in my listing. I however, keep some drinking water in the room, near the coffee maker. I can provide refill if I am home, but otherwise please arrange on your own. There are corner stores 2 minutes walk away on Eglinton Ave. Please do not book my room without reading what is provided and ask me for kitchen access or parking.
