The house has plenty of outdoor areas including a front porch and large patio with private pool, BBQ, pool table and hammocks. If you prefer to stay inside you can enjoy the open floor plan and the free WiFi. Guest access If you decide to stay with us you'll have the entire property for your family to enjoy, including the front porch, the patio, and the private pool. The patio is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day BBQing and laying in the hammocks in between taking refreshing dips and playing pool. All the facilities of the patio are within the property and include bathroom and small kitchen next to the pool area. Other things to note At Casa Alba we are trying to minimize our impact on the environment while still providing you with an excellent vacation experience. For starters, we’ve invested in a solar system that generates clean energy to cover the needs of the house with the surplus being sent to the grid for wider use. We also try to make sure all the products we buy from local artisans and businesses are all natural. In this way, we not only minimise the environmental impact of Casa Alba but also support socially and environmentally responsible companies to thrive and make positive change in their industry. Promoting the work of local artisans and family businesses from Puerto Rico is part of creating a great guest experience at Casa Alba. The decorations around the house and to the extent possible the basic supplies provided are sourced from local artisans and family businesses. We want to maximise the impact of tourist dollars on the local economy. By buying locally, we allow your money to stay on the island and create jobs and opportunities for Puerto Ricans trying to make a living at home. While we have put mitigation measures in place to ensure a comfortable stay, please note that circumstances beyond our control such as prolonged power or water outages may occur unfortunately and impact the availability of these services. As such, we appreciate your understanding and patience should a prolonged outage occur and deplete the house’s back up resources during your stay. Please note that decorations, layouts and amenities might slightly change with time as our guests enjoy their time staying with us. Also, guest should understand that our lovely Isla del Encanto has a beautiful tropical climate, which is an amazing setting for your holiday but is also adored by insects and lizards who flourish in this environment. Although we engage pest control services to minimum interactions with these critters, by renting a house in the tropics, guests recognize that encounters with them within or outside the house do not constitute grounds for requesting a full or partial refund or other form of compensation.
