Authentic and bright fisherman's house, in the heart of a village on an island without cars, 2 steps from beaches and shops, on a beautiful quiet street. The house, which combines the charm of the old and modern comfort, has several living spaces in addition to the 2 bedrooms: a large open space on the ground floor (open kitchen - living room -S.M. - bur.); a courtyard in the back; a front garden for aperitifs and evening dinners. Wood-burning stove. Bath and bed sheets are extra. Free pkg. in Fouras. The space "La délicieuse" is an authentic fisherman's house ideally located in the heart of a fortified village on Aix Island. It is quiet in the most beautiful street on the island, while being 3 minutes walk from 2 beaches (the "Plage de l 'Anse de la Croix" which is supervised in summer and the "Grande plage"), shops , cafes, the nautical club and the port. Bright and functional, it has several living spaces. In addition to the 40 m2 open space on the ground floor (with living room, oak dining table, desk area and open kitchen) and the 2 bedrooms upstairs, you can have an aperitif and dinner in the 18 m2 street garden for private use around the table that can accommodate 6 people; you will also enjoy a courtyard at the back with its beautiful stone wall - ideal for breakfast and lunch, and a basement cellar - partly converted into a video room/game room with a laundry area. The living room is equipped with a double sofa bed (less comfortable than the beds in the bedrooms), 2 armchairs, a secretary and an oak table sleeping up to 8 people. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with an Italian shower, separate toilet and a large closet. Upstairs, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and which can accommodate a cot (provided), the other with two single beds. Each bedroom has a window and a closet. The bedding in the bedrooms is of high quality. The equipment is quite complete: dishwasher, washing machine, two refrigerators (a small one in the kitchen and a large one in the cellar), induction hob, oven, vacuum cleaner, toaster, Nespresso machine (bring your pods), filter coffee maker, kettle, TV screen and DVD player (no TV antenna), dishes, hair dryer, iron, small ironing board, umbrella bed, wood stove, electric radiators, outdoor folding table and chairs, rattan garden armchairs and Wi-Fi. In the basement you will find a play area (a large sofa, a TV screen, a DVD player, books and games for children, DVDs and board games); another part of the basement is arranged as a laundry room. Efficient heating in winter. Bath and bed sheets are provided in addition (€10 per night). Due to too many damages, we unfortunately no longer make the bikes available to our guests. Note that you will hardly need it given the location of the house on this small island. If you want to go around (1 hour by bike), you can go to a rental company we know who will give you a price for a bike rental. Also plan to bring cash as there is no ATM on the island. Guest access You will have access to every part of the house. We put our personal belongings in a part of the large closet in the basement that will be reserved for this purpose. No access to the barbecue for safety and insurance reasons. Thank you for understanding. Other things to note We provide our guests with a minimum of groceries upon arrival (instant coffee, tea, sugar, dishwashing liquid, soap). There is a Nespresso coffee machine (bring your pods) and at the general request we have added a filter coffee machine! You can eat 4 in the courtyard, 8 in the dining room and 6 outside in the garden. We do not provide bath sheets or bed sheets. Possibility to rent them from the lady who will welcome you. A baby crib is available (with mattress, without sheets).
