Cruxton Studio, an Idyllic Countryside Escape in Dorset

Tucked away amongst fields down a Dorset country lane, Cruxton Studio is the perfect getaway. After an invigorating walk, return for tea and a homemade Dorset Apple Cake or simply sit outside and listen to the wildlife. Clean lines and soft tones create a fresh feel, while sweeping skies make it an ideal spot for stargazing. The property is surrounded by beautiful countryside with walks and cycle rides straight from the door and the Jurassic Coast is only a 20 minute drive away. The space The studio is open plan and fitted with a very comfortable double bed, table, chairs, sofa, wardrobe, Smart TV and efficient heating. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, multi function cooker/microwave and fridge. The bathroom offers a good size shower, wash basin, loo and heated towel rail. Outside there is a purpose built shed for coats, boots etc. We welcome dogs and have recently fenced the garden area to allow your dog off the lead whilst with you in the studio. Guests are welcome to spend time by the private river bank. Access is through a little gate with a willow arch further down the lane. For those who want to work, we have recently installed Starlink WiFi with super fast upload and download speeds. Guest access Guests are welcome to spend time by the river bank. The property garden is fully fenced to allow dogs off the lead. We ask guests to kindly keep their dogs on a lead whilst outside the fenced area as we have sheep in the field, bantam chickens and a cat! The host has an alarm in the open barn which is activated between the hours of 11pm and 6pm For those who need to work or want to play, we have installed Starlink broadband.
