“Cottage Bimmisca”is a charming small house with a wonderful view of the sea of the Vendicari nature reserve, seemingly floating on a cloud of olive trees. The cottage is about three kilometers from the sea, Noto and Marzamemi are equidistant about 15 minutes by car. It is located in the countryside, in an independent and private position near the house of the owners of the farm bearing the same name (eight hectares planted with organic olives and almonds). The space Our philosophy We tried to create a place whose key words were simplicity, experiences and authenticity. Simplicity for us is an unpretentious attitude, made up of a few things in the right places, which make us feel good and untie the knots of our lives - which tend more complex and hectic than necessary. Experience is the soul of every trip ... whether waking up to see the sunrise or falling asleep with the full moon over the sea, the sunset from the top of the hill, the walks among the trees, the sounds of the countryside, the views or the scents of the local cuisine ... you will discover the experience that will make you feel good and that will reconnect you with yourself and with the people you are traveling with. Finally, authenticity because it is a place that respects real things, adapting to the surrounding nature without forcing, but respecting its strength and character. Interior The living area consists of a single space, separated by an equipped wall. On one side lies the large double bed, a comfortable wardrobe, a chest of drawers and an armchair. On the other side, a fully equipped kitchen and a table for chilly evening dinners. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower and has a wardrobe wall inside which is the laundry area (washing machine, ironing board and iron). Large and numerous windows guarantee natural ventilation, for further comfort the cottage has air conditioning and heating. External On the south side of the cottage there is a large covered terrace, under which there is a large table and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a wood-fired barbecue, perfect for al fresco summer dinners. The front of the cottage opens onto a terrace surrounded by a dry stone wall and shaded by a large cypress. On the side of the terrace there is the plunge pool for exclusive use of our guests (diam. 2.5 m, depth 1.3 m) and just below the mini-pool is a heated outdoor shower, created under the branches of an olive tree. On the roof of the cottage is the solarium, with a large sunbathing platform - perfect for aperitifs at sunset. The view from the terrace extends over the sea from the tip of Syracuse to Capo Passero. Guest access All the listed spaces are of exclusive use of our guests. PLEASE NOTE: in order to let our guests enjoy a more private experience, we are upgrading the cottage pool to a bigger and deeper one (2,5 mt dia x 1,3 mt depth). - The new pool will be ready by april 15.. Therefore for all reservations received after march 1 , 2025 the pool of the main house will be off premises. Apart from the sea, the area offers countless outdoor opportunities - be it hiking, biking, water sports, Etna excursions. We will be delighted to support you in organizing your activity.
