This charming 3-story Victorian built in the early 1900's still contains its original woodwork, and original stained glass windows. The bedrooms on the top two floors are spacious and can accommodate up to 19 people. The two living rooms are comfy and cozy and the fireplace makes for a warm gathering spot in the winter months. It is a joy to sit on the front porch in the early morning or dusk hours and watch the neighborhood deer families graze in the yard. The entire house is available to guests. We are available for questions by phone, text, or email. If we are in town, we can help out in person as well. We are one block from Main Street in the quiet country town of Jeffersonville, NY. Within walking distance is our town library, an ice cream stands, restaurants, a grocery store, a liquor store, an antique store, a brand new bakery, and local shopping. The school on the hill above us has a lovely playground for kids to play on during the weekends and a huge track that is nice for runs and exercise. You are within walking distance to Main Street and all of its shopping and restaurants. The house is on a quiet residential street with families and weekenders living in close proximity. The house is not in a secluded area so guests need to be very mindful of keeping the noise levels low in the evening when neighbors are sleeping. We have had problems in the past with young people renting the house and disturbing our neighbors so we will only rent to families or to groups of friends in their 40s.
