Merman Cottage

Merman Cottage is a converted traditional stone "Steading" on a croft, close to The Edinbane Inn, 8 miles from Dunvegan, 13 from Portree. It is designed to help you slow down and experience Skye at its best. After a day exploring dramatic landscapes, coastal walks and hidden places, return to a warm, welcoming retreat. Planning a trip to Skye can feel overwhelming. We can help - with trusted recommendations, and the reassurance that you've chosen a place where guests truly feel at home. The space The cottage is a traditional 1 and a half story stone building, upstairs there is a double bedroom, a twin room and toilet accessed by a wooden spiral staircase. The ground floor is an open plan living, dining, kitchen area with a bathroom. There is a sea loch at the bottom of the croft. The cottage is cosy, safe and peaceful. It is a place to relax after a day on the hills or exploring Skye, the thick walls and crackling fire in the potbellied stove provide a haven to recharge your batteries in a busy world. Pets are welcome, a max of 2 dogs per cottage, they must be inoculated and not fighting breeds. please bring your own blanked / basket. There is a charge of £40 per dog.
