Hampton Downs Raceway Retreat

We live on a quiet, rural block with our chooks, sheep and two cats. Our home is modern and spacious. Just 5 minutes south of Hampton Downs Raceway and 40 minutes north of Hamilton we have plenty of secure parking for trailers. Families are very welcome. There are toys for kids and they're welcome to feed the animals. Enjoy a delicious complementary cooked breakfast and free snacks and refreshments in your room. We look forward to meeting you! The space You'll be personally welcomed by your hosts, John and Diane. You'll also enjoy a free, generous breakfast and/or dinner if required (dinner at an additional charge and only by prior arrangement). You'll be staying in our main guest room/s. This space comes complete with a refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, luxurious bed linen, plenty of wardrobe space, and a hot spa pool, and private patio on which to relax after the long day. The second room, has a very comfortable queen sized bed and also plenty of wardrobe space. It is accessed off the main hallway of the house. It does not have direct access to the outdoors so is only available as an additional room. It is adjacent to the master bedroom and perfect for another couple or children who could share the queen sized bed. We could also erect the porta-cot if required. You'll also have exclusive use of Living Room 2, a spacious and relaxing room adjacent to the living room. If you wish to book two singles in separate rooms, just book for 3 people and your booking will automatically reserve the second room. Guest access We'll be here to personally welcome you when you arrive and to show you to your rooms. Private access is available through French Doors, off the patio. We'll give you a key and gate remote when you arrive, so you can come and go as you please. You're welcome to access all the main living areas, indoors and out, and relax under the umbrella on the north facing patio. You may wander the property, feed the sheep and chickens and collect the eggs from the hen house, at your leisure. During your stay If you require a private stay, you can be assured of privacy. If, however, you wish to socialize we'll be available to you, morning and evening, throughout your stay. We rarely use our large lounge area, with ready access to the north side of the home. It adjoins the dining area and is a perfect space to socialise with others in your group. The barbeque area is just outside. Other things to note Breakfast is included in your night rate. A full menu can be found in the photos. This generously proportioned meal has been a real highlight for many of our guests. To order, please ensure you leave the completed paper copy of the menu on the kitchen bench by 10pm at the latest, the night before you require it. Breakfast is available from 6.30am. Please state the time you need it on your order.
