The Glens Falls Inn is located in the southern Adirondacks. It is within walking distance to downtown Glens Falls where you will find a variety of restaurants, brew pubs, theaters, specialty shops, museums, sporting events, shows, concerts and more. Only 15-20 minute drive to Saratoga Springs or Lake George. A turn of the century spectacular home. The interior is exquisite with all its original wood work, high ceilings and pocket doors. Rooms are very inviting, well appointed and comfortable. The space This wonderful home greets you with a great 'welcome home' feel. Large spacious rooms for gathering. Gather in the living room, large dining room or kitchen. There are a total of 6 guest rooms each with its own private bathroom. The first floor bedroom is handicap accessible. Remaining 5 guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. The inn is a truly a remarkable structure with high ceilings, noteable details of original moldings, hardwood floors, pocket doors and various other nuances of its time. Entire home updated with all the amenities of todays modern world but carries an incredible timeless old world charm of historical appeal. Free wifi and cable throughout. Television in each guestroom. The Top of the Inn is a private third floor, one bedroom apartment, fully stocked kitchen, full bath and washer dryer for laundry. This is a separate unit with its own entrance that is sometimes occupied by other guests or owner. Feel free to inquire for more details or if additional space is needed for rental. Guest access When booking the entire home with 6 guest rooms you will have full private use of the kitchen, livingroom, and dining room. If you are booking one of the guest rooms only.... all guests will share access and have full welcome use of the sitting parlor, living room, dining room and wrap around front porch. Cooking and laundry not available for use. Laundry room available for guests who is booked for 7 days or more. Please request prior to booking. I will prepare the facility for your use at an additional cost. Other things to note There is a 3rd floor apartment that may be available for reservations. No access unless prior arrangement are made. It is a separate unit that offer a fully applianced kitchen, full bath, laundry and 1 bedroom with king bed plus a full size fouton. It is known as the 'Top of the Inn" or Innkeepers Quarters. Very nice space for a private stay.
