Come Here to Lose yourself! *Veg meals are included in the tariff* The space This beautiful space at Purrom is approx 400 sq foot and perfect for a couple or a group of 2. It comes with private enclosed handmade plunge pool which is covered with glass all around and perfect for star/sun gazing. The plunge pool does NOT have hot water although the ensuite bathroom is fitted with a hot water geyser. It takes 6-7 hours + sometimes days (depending on the electricity)to fill the plunge pool so let us know in advance so we can have it ready for you on time. If we have a guest checking out the day you are checking in then this might not be possible so please ask before you book. We however can call for a tanker if needed for an extra fee. In the dry months March - June we will charge extra for the pool to be filled. But the tanker cannot fill if we don't have sufficient power. If the pool water is a little brown or green its because our source of water is a well / lake and in dry months we are scraping the bottom :) So it's not dirty just filled with earthy minerals. If that is a problem best not to book this room. The pool needs a lot of water to fill 3000 litres so we do not allow one night stay as its a waste of a lot of water. The pool also needs full electricity to pump water even if with a tanker so in monsoons that becomes a bit difficult and since it is cold outside anyway and the pool has cold water we do not fill it. Please make a note of this before booking this room. This eco friendly dome is nestled between 2 Gulmohar trees and completely secluded from all civilisation. Please see the photos to get a better idea :) Every single corner of this land has been handmade. From the Glass House to the Dome Huts to the Platform, every bit with love and care. There is a spectacular view from every corner and a different bird on every tree. There are many spaces to read and sun bathe in our garden and not to mention our meditation hill. Please Read this BEFORE Booking! We have just recently installed an AC in this room and even though its there our single phase electricity will not sustain it all day and night. The room is eco friendly and hence cool all the time except for a few hours in the afternoon. If you need AC all day long this might not be for you so do not book. The AC also does not work on solar or irregular voltage. In the monsoons we do not have the AC facility hence we lower the cost of the room. Happy to announce that we are SOLAR Powered so there is no issue of electricity like we had before at least in normal summer months (we seem to be stable in the Monsoons as well except when the sun does not come out for days but we also have the old old generator, which we really do not like). However nature does have its own way and in a storm we cannot guarantee anything:) ON THURSDAYS THE LIGHT GOES IN THE ENTIRE AREA AND WE ARE WORKING ON SOLAR ALL DAY SO BEST TO CONSERVE SO THE BATTERIES LAST THROUGH THE NIGHT :) But this can be said of everyday as we pretty much are embracing living off the grid. Since we are in located in a remote area, the WIFI is not banging so unless you need to upload and download big files, one can work here peacefully for normal online jobs . This might be a problem for some, but we consider it our USP. If you must stay connected, Airtel and Jio work great and have no issues. We serve vegetarian food. Yes you will Live. WE ARE A SMALL FAMILY NOT A RESTAURANT so please don't make requests or demands. This price includes 3 vegetarian meals - HOMESTYLE BREAKFAST | LUNCH | DINNER. If you like to snack in the evenings please make sure you carry them with you and if you like restaurant cooking then we are not the place for you:) Meal Timings (Pretty Strict as the staff also needs to rest) Breakfast 9am - 10:30am Lunch 1pm - 2:30pm Tea 5pm - 6pm Dinner 8pm - 9:30pm Smoking and Drinking is strictly not allowed in the room. You are free to do so outside as long as you don’t disturb the other guests. We also don’t allow eating in the room for hygiene reasons. We do not have accommodation for drivers, we are a small space and only allow a limited number of people in. Please hope you understand this. If you are coming here to get entertained by me please understand that I am here for the same reason as you - To Switch Off :) We are immersed in nature and all kinds of animals and birds coexist with us. If you have a phobia this might not be the space for you :) But maybe you should still come to let go of that phobia! Embrace them and let them embrace you. Understand that we are on their land and they are more afraid of us as humans can destruct for no reason :) 6 cats and a puppy live on the property hence we do not allow pets as its traumatic for all animals, yours and ours. In. monsoons the rains are quite relentless and even though we have solar and a generator sometimes there might be no power. If you have kids and are looking for activities, we don't have any. Same goes for adults :) We only have nature. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE MONSOONS IT IS ADVISABLE TO NOT BOOK AHEAD OF TIME AS STORMS AND HEAVY RAINS CAN CAUSE HAVOC IN OUR AREA. SOMETIMES ROADS ARE BLOCKED AND SOMETIMES THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY EVEN WITH SOLAR AND A GENERATOR HENCE NO AC EITHER. WE ARE AN AIRBNB LISTING AND NOT A RESORT. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING IT IF YOU ARE WEARY OF HEIGHTS OR intoxicated or just IN GENERAL. WE HAVE ANOTHER PLATFORM IN THE BACK WITH IS MORE SPACIOUS AND NOT AT A HEIGHT :) We are not responsible for any injuries to you or your family, friends, pets, etc on our property or off. Since the meals (vegetarian) are included in the tariff we ask to refrain from using our kitchen. We have set timings for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Feel free to carry your own alcoholic beverages / mixers / soft drinks as we do not stock them. We have a fridge where you can chill them. We have no problems you drinking / smoking in the garden as long as your'e courteous and our other guests are not affected by it :) Parking is FREE on our premises. In case of multiple days then all 3 meals per day :) Tea/Coffee is served in the morning with breakfast and in the evening with biscuits. We are a small AirBnB however and not a restaurant so please understand that we don't serve all day long or take requests and the kitchen shuts at 10pm. Happy to announce that We now are SOLAR Powered so there is no issue of electricity in normal months and in the monsoons we are equipped with a generator, which we really do not like as its loud. However nature does have its own way and in a storm we cannot guarantee anything:) But we are on our way to truly living off the grid :) Also there are a few mosquitoes in the evenings so please remember to carry your mosquito repellent with you. We do have Repellant but sometimes run out as other guests also use it so best to have your own. Your Stay | Meals are designed for you to engage with nature and indulge with your senses.
