Our neighborhood is unique because we are not a downtown location. Therefore, we are in an extremely safe, quiet area. However, we are close to Cedar Point, the new Sports Force Park, the beach, shopping, & restaurants. Here at our Airbnb you have the best of both worlds: ease of access to shopping and attractions, yet far enough away to get a good night's sleep. Although we are dog-friendly, we cannot allow cats due to a family member's severe allergy. Book your room in advance for Sports Force Park Tournaments or Cedar Point visits, as our county's room offerings dwindle during our busy season. DOG POLICY: The fee for dogs is $35 per night per dog. The dog fees will be added after booking by host. We only cater to loving, responsible, attentive dog owners. Guests who plan on leaving their dog(s) alone all day long while they attend Cedar Point or go to the Islands need to find another Airbnb. We love dogs and welcome dog owners who love them and care for them as we do our own. Leaving dog(s) all day long with no potty breaks/visits is definitely not in keeping with our policy. We are sure that all responsible pet owners would agree with our Dog Policy listed here: 1. Pets may not be left unattended for hours and hours with no care. There are many great pet sitters and daycare options in our area. Our parameters are that dog(s) are to be crated while guests are gone, and he/she/they can't be left all day long in a crate with no breaks. We don't allow free-roaming dogs when the owners aren't there, so crating is a must when guests are out to eat or at the park, or any other time guests are gone. We are very close to the park, so previous guests have had no problem coming back once and even twice daily for potty breaks and exercise... 2. Any pet stains or pet odors will be professionally cleaned after departure and the cost of the service will be the pet owner’s responsibility. 3. Pets are expected to be clean and odor free when they are staying with us. 4. Pets may be taken on leash out to the backyard for restroom breaks. Please bring poop bags for and pick up after your pet. 5. No bathing of pets is allowed anywhere in the house. There is a wonderful pet wash right down the road from us. :-) 6. If there is an excessive amount of hair or fur left in the unit, there will be an extra cleaning charge for the removal of the hair that will come out of the guest deposit.
