The space Bishop Creek Cabin, located in the Driftless region of Wisconsin in Vernon County, is an outdoor lover's paradise. Imagine a cabin, nestled into a hillside over-looking a spectacular river valley with large bluffs in every direction. This cozy Amish crafted cabin that was built in 2006 has been fully updated with new appliances, beds, bedding, bathroom and utilities. Located across the road, within 180 feet of Bishop Creek, a Class I Trout Stream, and ¾ of a mile from the West Fork Kickapoo River, one of Wisconsin's top 5 trout streams, makes this property the ideal location to catch the trout of a lifetime! In the mornings and evenings you can see the trout rising to the latest hatch. A variety of wildlife including whitetail deer, turkeys, and wood ducks are often viewed from the front porch. The cabin features a full kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower, living room, and loft with sleeping areas. All of these great features make Bishop Creek Cabin your perfect Southwest Wisconsin getaway! Guest access Access to the entire cabin and yard area for relaxation and camp fires. No hiking on logging roads. Please follow no trespassing signs on logging roads Other things to note Some of the many attractions the Driftless Region in SW Wisconsin offers are hiking, bicycling, canoeing the Kickapoo River, trout fishing, antiquing, great restaurants, organic farming, and harvest season festivities. The cabin is pet friendly. For guests interested in bringing their pet there is a $50 pet fee. When booking your reservation please let us know of your plan to bring your pet. Do to space constraints the cabin is equipped with a 6 gallon hot water heater which provides about 6 minutes of continuous hot water for the shower and 20-30 minute recovery time. Our family of 5 finds it manageable to take Navy showers with no issues.
