The Loft - Exceptional views, hot tub & balcony

The Loft is a comfortable and relaxing space with a private hot tub and balcony, both boasting spectacular views of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Walks across rolling hills can be taken directly from the door or within a short drive you can visit Bowood Estate, the tranquil village of Lacock, or the towns of Marlborough, Devizes and Calne. Nearby are Stonehenge and Avebury, with easy access to the beautiful city of Bath, and transport links at Chippenham rail station and M4J17. The space The Loft is a private room in a new traditional oak framed building with its own private access adjacent to our family home. It is a comfy and cosy space nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sandy Lane, boasting beautiful views of the Bowood Estate and stretching for miles to Cherhill Monument, the White Horse and beyond. We are really very spoiled to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and some Great British wildlife. It is common to be able to spot a family of Red Kites and a herd of Deer in a neighbouring field, and we are frequently visited by pheasants, partridges, rabbits and numerous native birds. The spacious balcony is a perfect spot for breakfast whilst watching the spectacular sunrise, or to gaze at stars in the unpolluted skies at night with complimentary use of a telescope. A dip in the hot tub with an alfresco shower before settling down for the evening is a great way to wind down after a busy day. Guest access We are in a small parish location surrounded by beautiful countryside but less than 5 miles from the centre of Chippenham. Public transport is available, but very limited. Other things to note A minimum of 2 nights stay will be required for reservations starting on a Friday or Saturday, and 3 nights minimum for a reservation beginning on a Thursday. Our Loft offers one double bed. There is space for a travel cot (which can be provided) or a single inflatable bed if required. Facilities are available to make tea and coffee and we offer items for breakfast to include a variety of cereals, juice, pastries and jams. I am very sorry, but we are not able to accommodate pets in The Loft.
