Light Filled, Perfect Location, Old Chapel House

In the centre of the Unesco World Heritage site, Bodefryd is an unique, generously proportioned detached townhouse, with big, light rooms, high ceilings, and full of period features. The house is perfectly located for anything Eryri , with easy access to everywhere in the National Park. Bodefryd is also the kind of house you'd be happy spending a rainy day in. As hosts we are always trying to tread lighter with our world, and be kinder with all the humans. The space The house is comfortable, spacious and well equipped for self catering groups of 8-10. We've decorated the house with furnishings that make you feel genuinely at home, as well as being reflective of its history. You can see the steam trains arrive and depart from the big south facing windows, and the vista stretching for miles all the way to the Rhinogydd. Environmental Credentials We are trying to consider our day to day impact on the environment. We encourage staycations in the UK and keep our nightly rate really low. Recycling is made easy for you. All the soap, washing up liquid and washing machine liquid are refills to save quite dramatically on the plastic packaging from the property. The products are also environmentally friendly ones too. Just 20mins drive from here, our tiny bunkhouse is half way up a mountain, off grid and remote, offering a return to a simpler life, even if only for a few days. Other things to note The house is situated on the highstreet. There are parking bays directly opposite the house with 45 minute time frames, Mon-Sat 9am-6pm. This is easy loading and unloading of children, bags and food. The reliable longer term option is a lit, free carpark less than 3 minutes walk away. From facing the house, drive right, down the hill of the highstreet and turn left after passing a church on your left before you get to the roundabout. Plenty of space there by the Old Market Hall. There is often a space down one of the nearer side streets.
