'This home is located in one of the most fascinating settings I've ever visited, I was torn between watching salmon jumping up the waterfall or watching the swans arrive home in the evening from the tip of the island' Most mornings you can spot kingfishers flying by while swans, seals and herons are regular visitors. Only a short drive from Bantry town and some of the best hikes in the country, the perfect spot for anyone looking for a bit of peace and tranquility in a very special unique home. The space This is a private room with an ensuite bathroom in a stunning home with spectacular views. There's a beautiful swimming spot at the tip of the island. It's important to note that this home is on an island and you cannot drive to the door, it is just a one minute stroll through beautiful old trees and ferns to arrive here though. A great location to explore West Cork & the Beara peninsula from and only a 5 minute drive into Bantry town. During your stay Myself or my brother are available during your stay to help you settle in and to advise on the local area, we've loads of hints and tips on what to do and how to get the most out of your stay here. We love hiking and exploring so will have lots of ideas for if you like the outdoors.
