The house is located in Autrac, a small hamlet 800 m above sea level, on the foothills of the Cézallier, a vast volcanic plateau 1485 m above sea level halfway between the Dore and Cantal mountains. The region offers multiple opportunities for walks and hikes, swimming in lakes or rivers, discovering heritage, typical Auvergne Romanesque art, and local products: cheeses, cold meats, wines. Guest access Autrac is located 12 km from the A75 highway. It is accessed by the D8 departmental road which crosses Blesle, the nearest village, located 7.0 km away, ranked among the 100 most beautiful in France. Two parking spaces are available in front of the house. Other things to note Autrac is a rural hamlet without shops. But there are opportunities to buy local products from different neighboring farmers. The nearest shops are 7 km away in Blesle (bakery, butcher-delicatessen, grocery store, bars, restaurants), 12 km away in Massiac (convenience stores), 25-30 km away in Saint-Flour or Brioude (supermarkets).
