The Old Bakery is perfectly located within the exclusive West Hill Area of Brighton. The house is a stones throw from the station and just a short walk from the Town Centre, Seven Dials and Beach. The Old Bakery is situated on a quiet sleepy street so please note that this property is strictly available for up to 5 guests only, no parties or gatherings allowed. Pets are charged as an extra. The modern decor and great layout makes it a perfect place to stay whilst enjoying Brighton. The space The Old Bakery is a beautiful Brighton holiday home positioned in a quiet street close by to all Brighton has to offer. This townhouse has a modern interior, is well laid out and beautifully finished. SLEEPING It sleeps 5 guests very comfortably. The Blue Room has a superking size bed which can be split into two standard single beds. The Pink Room has a Kingsize Bed which can also be split into two single beds. In the Green Room there is a standard single bed. The Pink bedroom is en suite (shower and basin) with great views over Brighton and there is a spacious bathroom upstairs with bath/shower as well as a downstairs powder room with basin and loo. Please note this property is charged according to the number of guests that stay so please be accurate with your booking details. Extra guests will be charged. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven range cooker, dish washer, 5 gas hob burner, microwave, kettle and toaster. There are pots, pans, cups, glasses and all the necessities required to cook and serve drinks with. Just bring the food and drink ! LIVING SPACE The two sofas in the main living area are a great addition and the dining area boasts 5 eames style dining chairs and a table. There is SKY Q, 43” flatscreen tv and separate DVD player, Wii console, Bluetooth speaker as well as board games, dvds and books. We also provide access to a complimentary Netflix account during your stay. HEATING The house is centrally heated with a Worcester Bosch Combination boiler with thermostat in the kitchen which monitors temperatures and hot water throughout the house. GARDEN There is a private walled 'sun trap' garden for relaxation and a true peacefulness and tranquility to the location. You would never realise you were a short walk from the centre of the city. HISTORY The house is thought to have been built as a bakery originally around the end of the 19th century and would have served the local residents of the surrounding terraces which formed the very heart of what Brighton is now today. Guest access The house is centrally located and close to Brighton's main train station with links to London and the South. There is parking at the station and also bus stops connecting you to all routes throughout the local area. Walking to town and the seafront is straightforward, just walk to the station and then go right down Queens Road through town to the seafront. There are Social Bicycles which can be hired throughout the city through the SoBi app. As it is city center there is on street paid parking however this can be a bit pricey and is restricted to four hours. There are local NCP car parks which are around 5-10 mins walk away. Alternatively there are local park and ride schemes or parking apps such as ‘Just Park’ where you can park on private driveways. Other things to note We do allow pets but we ask a charge of £10 per pet per night and also that they are house trained. If you want to alter the dates of your booking there will be a rebooking fee required. If you would like early check in at 1pm then this is available for £25. Late check out at midday is also available for £25 (dependant on our cleaner). Please ask if you would like to add either of these to your booking. For longer stays we offer a change over service during your stay for £65 which includes new linen change and cleaning of the property. Just let us know when you book if you would like to book this service. The travel cot, when requested, can be supplied.
