Come and enjoy the beautiful lakes region of Maine this summer with your own private lakefront cottage on Maranacook lake. Situated right on the water with a wade in area, kayaks, canoe, dock and boat mooring. Westerly facing for gorgeous sunset evenings with a good sized footprint for fairly large groups makes our spot a great summer vacation spot for all. Our cottage is on a two acre wooded lot, accessed by a half mile wooded dirt road, so it is well off of all main roads. Includes over 250' of private cove water frontage, the cabin is about twelve feet from the water and a sizeable back yard/parking area as well (fits 4-6 cars). There is a smaller cabin on the plot as well that is not included and will be vacant during your stay. You have access to the whole property, omitting another small personal family cabin. The large rental cottage includes sleeping for 8+ people, a common area with a large couch, full kitchen, bath and large three season porch. Property has sizable water frontage in a cove and includes a newer dock system, small deck, a canoe, two kayaks, a boat mooring and a semi sandy spot to wade into the lake or set a chair in shallow water to enjoy the view. There is a small country store for sandwiches, pizza and the like about three miles down the road. For a major grocery store and fuel, travel is more like ten miles. We are located about 15-20 minutes off of I295. Weekly rentals only through the summer months. Local transfer station pass to be obtained for trash removal by occupants. Both the town office, where the free pass can be picked up and the transfer station are within five miles of the property. There are several trash barrels on the property for trash storage, but they MUST be emptied by the end of the stay or be subjected to a sizable fee.
