Korthi is a very cozy village for your vacation and centrally located for visiting and exploring many places around the island. It is located at the Southeast of Andros Island. Andros is the first closest island from Rafina Port which is about 30mn.by bus from the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. The trip to Andros (Gavrio Port) has a duration of 2 hours and from there to Ormos Korthi 40km about 40mn. Andros is very close to other Cycladic islands, such as Mykonos, Tinos for day trips , Syros, Paros, boat. The house has 2DBL bedrooms , 1 living room ( pull out couch that can sleep 2 ), 1 bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. This property is ideal for a quick walk to many beaches -The Pidima tis Grias Beach, Bouro Beach, Agia Ekaterini, Vintsi, Kadouni,etc. A speed boat - for 8 persons with skipper & fully equipped- is also available to bring you for sightseeing, photo shooting, fishing and visiting other further beaches as Kremides, Achla,Sineti, Panormo Tinos island, etc. upon request & agreeable charges (Always depending on the weather conditions). It is 3 min. from the village which gives you quiet and privacy. There is so much to do whether you want to enjoy peace and quiet or a night out. Parking is available for your car. Your host Clio, is available to escort you to Korthi upon arrival and offer you any assistance during your stay. Andros is an island with an ancient history. It is a very good starting point for your expeditions and explorations of the island. It is ideal for people who want a quiet surrounding and to be close to nature (clean waters, agreeable walks and hiking in unique natural landscape), Andros Island (Cyclades-Greece) has 120km signed and numbered paths, it has plenty of water reserves, mountainous terrain, a sharp relief and extremely varied scenery. Small forests, fertile valleys, numerous beaches, ravines with continuous water flow, streaming waterfalls and springs are found in almost every slope and valley. Hikers encounter dramatically different microcosms rich in biodiversity. Areas comprising almost half of the island are designated Natura, IBA sites or wildlife sanctuaries, where many rare or endemic species of flora and fauna find refuge. For the lovers of the gourmet foods Andros has its own delicacies to offer. Local Wines, raki, cheeses, sausages, honey, capers, mountain tee, oregano, marathro, bayleaves etc. and of course homemade bio marmalades. House rules: Arrival after 15:00 • 4 GUESTS ALLOWED (6 guests permitted if children) • Any damages will be subject to charge that cover replacement and / or repair. • All contents are to stay on the premises, For example..Linens, kitchen utensils, dishes, cups, bicycles, etc. • No smoking allowed inside the property. Allowed at the yard. • Keys to be returned to managing agent prior to departure. • All window & doors shutters should securely closed & in locked position to prevent wind from slamming / breaking them. Please turn off Air/con when you keep windows and doors open. • When checking out, refrigerator should be cleared of any food, drink etc.. • All garbage needs to be taken to trash stations / dumpsters upon leaving (at the marina). • Please check for all personal belongings before leaving. Clio is a woman of infectious energy, a Greek Byzantine, prepares excellent vegetarian and Mediterranean food, fried and cooked fish dishes. We can offer light meals on request (breakfast, sandwiches for boat trips,) and delicious dinners on request (vegetarian, sea food, Greek Mediterranean etc.) There is a big bbq situated in a big area , fully equipped with all the utensils needed. Guest access There is a spacious veranda-yard with long-chairs for you to relax, sunbath etc. Also 4 folding chairs and a beach umbrella to take with you at the beach. We provide fresh bed sheets and towels every 5 days We provide thick cotton towels for your shower and special handwoven very absorbant bio towels for the sea. We can arrange to buy anything you wish from the supermarket, for the kids, the kitchen, the bar etc. . Just give us a notice before your arrival to arrange the order. There is a big professional water-filter which purifies the water of the whole house giving you the feeling of rain water on your skin. 24/7 hot water from a solar water heater. There is a First-Aid kit, fire extinguisher and a fire-alarm. A baby-cot is available. There is a big BBQ area fully equipped, dining area, utensils etc. for your needs. A washing machine is available for your needs with a small charge. Other things to note At your arrival you will find a bottle of water and fresh fruits in the fridge. We can arrange for you to have anything you wish and will be needing from a supermarket, for your stay like grocery etc. just give us the list before your arrival. If during your stay you wish to have private lunch or dinner, that can be arranged at an extra cost and a days notice. We can arrange transfer from and to the port if you wish. There is a fully equipped speed boat for 8 persons with a skipper. You can visit private beaches and close places, go fishing with an extra cost. Also 4 folding chairs and a beach umbrella to take with you at the beach for free. We provide a baby-cot for children under 2 years old.
