Cozy mountain cabin

Welcome to the Opera Farm: "Sølvane Farm" Enjoy nature, food and culture at our farm while staying in one of our mountain cabins. This cabin is one of 4 cabins at our mountain farm, and we have 6 suites down in the valley at our main farm. Total we can accommodate 50 guests. We have concerts, dinners and events at the barn the whole summer. Please read about the farm at our webside and social media. The space There are animals on the farm from about July 1 to August 15. Check-in and welcome is down at Sølvane Gard. Contact the host well in advance of arrival so we know when you will arrive. Food and drinks must be purchased. Sølvane Farm sells meat products. Sølvane Gard has concerts, dinners and wine tastings during the summer. Guests at the barn can drive their own car or be picked up to/from the events. Guest access Bed linen included. Parking is just outside the cabin in the fenced area, safe for goats. Toll road NOK 50 at the start of the Støylsveien road, about 3 km from the cabin. Pay by cash or vipps. Other things to note This cabin is in the middle of the nature, located on our mountain summer farm and there are goats right outside the cabin. You will love the nature, the mountains, the goats, the rivers, the green meadows and the fresh air. The place is suitable for couples and families. Its a traditional Norwegian cottage without electricity, hotwater, or bathroom. There is a bio toilet and you have to go outside in the river to "shower". Relax and be as one with nature while forgetting everyday life Bedsheets, towels included. Bring everything you need of food and drinks. There are no shops nearby. The kitchen has a gasstow and just simple amenities, like pots for cooking, plates, forks and knives, glasses etc. We can provide several cottages if you want more beds. Its 800-1600 each cottage and they can accommodate 2-4persons each. The cabin used to be the house for the milkmaid. She lived here every summer, milking the goats. No electricity, no hot water, biotoilet inside, no bathroom, no shower. There is a river right outside for washing etc. Cold water in the Kitchen sink. 50kr/nok in cash for the TOLL-road up to the cabin. Pay at the gate. We can provide several cottages if you want more beds. Its 600-900 each cottage/night and they can accommodate 2-4persons each. Live as in the olden days, in pact with nature!
