A self-contained 1 bed apartment adjoining a mature family house. The flat has its own entrance. It is within 200m of Sandymount strand, 100m of Sydney Parade DART station, 10 mins from city centre, 5 mins from RDS & Aviva, Aircoach 701 stops at St Vincents Hospital on Merrion Road. This stop is a 12minute walk to the room. For the tired traveler you'll be right at home in this very quite residential location, that, complemented by black-out blinds will ensure a great night's sleep. The space There's complimentary water, tea and coffee available as well as breakfast cereals and a mini fridge/cooler with a supply of fresh milk when requested. Please note that there are no cooking facilities in the room. There is a coffee machine and a kettle. There is no access to the kitchen in the main house. There are lots of nice places to eat for breakfast and dinner which are all listed in the room. Dirty dishes can be left on the table outside and they will be collected each morning at 11am and returned to the room once put through the dishwasher. If you would like fresh towels there will be extra towels in the wardrobe. Wet towels can be left on the chair outside for washing. Multichannel TV also in the room with some movie channels. Parking A parking permit will be given to you for the duration of your stay. Please make sure that your car has a permit at all times as clampers do visit the area from time to time. Each permit is valid for 24hrs. Please read information at the back of the permit. You will receive a text the night before your stay with details of parking. Car Hire and Public transport. You really don't need a car while staying here as transport links are good. If you want to save on an expense I would leave the car hire until the day you are leaving to go down the country. If you are staying in Dublin for a few days it is worth getting a leap card. You can purchase a leap card at the local train station which is less than a 5 minute walk. This card can be used on all train and bus routes. Credit cards are not accepted on public transport. You can use cash but you will not get change. I want to make your stay as comfortable as possible so don't hesitate to text if you need anything. Guest access This is a self contained unit overlooking the garden. There is no access to the main house. Other things to note There is one double bed in the room. If booking you need to be comfortable sharing the bed. There's a Go-Car pickup point and a Bleeperbike station point 250m from the flat. If you are spending a day or two in Dublin before travelling down the country you really don't need a car. My advice would be to hire a car the day you are leaving. The nearest car rental is at Hertz Car Hire. The one you would be booking is the one on Baggot Street Bridge. You can book online before you arrive.
