After paying fees at tourist centre for boat (3500php between 6 plus BIO guide & reservation fee) watch a short video then wait to be called to a BIO and his boat. Very quickly we managed to spot, enter water and snorkle with Whale Shark and what an amazing experience it was. I would recommend this in preference to Oslo as your experiencing these in their natural environment with much less interference from us pesky humans. We got very close to these amazing creatures but it's difficult not to considering you drop into water whilst boat is slowing down by a WS then fin out with your guide. I looked down and was directly above one which I wasn't sure I should have been altho I moved aside very quickly so not to disturb or get near it's coadal fin. Visited March 2016 The guests have access to the entire property facilities, including outdoor pizza oven, outdoor kids pool and a sizable fresh water pool for swimming The dining hall is open for guest use. The lounge is for guests to relax and listen to music, read your favourite book or watch a DVD. We have an open plan in the main house where guests can walk in and out the lounge and dining hall. We are there to meet and greet the guests and for guests to mingle. The property is located in the village of Gimagaan. There are no traffic and it still remains a traditional village lifestyle. All houses are built in timber and concrete blocks with anihaw roofing material. Locals sit outside the house in the evening enjoying the chat with the neighbours. Visitors are welcome to join in the conversation To get around, mainly by walking the beach and internal roads. Transport by tricycles and motorbikes is available.
