You will not find sidewalks. You will experience walking on sand, gravel, snow, ice and uneven surfaces on Peaks Island. There is an inclined right of way leading from “street” level up to residence. In winter, snow and ice may be more than you've experienced during winters where you live. Islanders often wear ice cleats on their shoes. Most of you know this. Some have no idea... Our place and the neighborhood is not for partying, large gatherings, late nights, with a lot of noise. If that’s your scene, we understand. But you’ll be more comfortable somewhere else. Some amenities may not be available during low season / cold season, such as bicycles and outdoor furnishings.
