Double room/bathroom in lively N4

Beautiful, double room with private bathroom in a four bedroom Victorian house. 20 mins to central London, 10 mins to Piccadilly Line. In the heart of bustling Harringay, great bars, a fabulous pub and delicious Turkish food are a minute away. The space A pretty guest room with a large double bed, wardrobe (with hangers), shelving, clean bedding and towels, and access to private bathroom (not en suite). We are a professional, friendly, hospitable married couple with two adult daughters at university (Leeds, and Harvard, USA). Our names are Penny and Henry, we are in our mid fifties and are an arts project manager and architect respectively. We speak English, Polish and some French. Our interests include music (hence the piano), Yoga, Pilates, swimming, gardening, cooking and travelling. The property is a clean, comfortable, 4 bedroom family home in Zone 2, with only one guest room available. The guest room is at the rear of the house and is a pretty and quiet room with a large double bed, wardrobe, clean bedding and towels, and access to private bathroom (not en suite). The house is Victorian (with original fire places,tiling and mouldings), with contemporary furnishing, and the guest room and bathroom are lockable. Guests are welcome to make use of the kitchen/dining room, washing/ironing facilities and the beautiful private garden. Complimentary teas, coffee & help yourself breakfast (cereals, toast). We will be happy to advise on any site seeing trips or excursions. Guest access Guests can cook light meals (soup, omlettes etc) during the day and spend time in the large kitchen/dining room which opens out onto the garden where you can sit and eat when the weather is good. Complementary teas, coffee, milk and good quality muesli-cereal for breakfast The private bathroom has a bath with shower, hand basin and toilet. There is wireless wifi throughout the house, a washing machine, and a piano. On week days there is also access to quiet desk space. During your stay I work from home so will generally be around if you need anything. My partner and I are native Londoners and know the city well. Because I work from home, if you plan to be around a lot during the day, please make that clear when you first message me. Other things to note We have a small black and white short haired cat. She is timid and will probably hide. However it is best to keep your bedroom door shut unless you want feline company! Our cleaner blitzes the house on Wednesday mornings from 8.30/9am to 12pm so there will be some noise on this day. They will not disturb your room though.
