Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds. The space Manor House Cottage is the ideal destination in which to unwind, relax and enjoy the countryside that surrounds it. Tucked away in a small hamlet, Manor House Cottage is the last property on a no through road, offering off the beaten track seclusion but with easy access to all that North Yorkshire has to offer. It is located equidistant between the thriving market towns of Thirsk and Ripon, offering race courses, a stunning cathedral in Ripon and the James Herriot Museum in Thirsk. Guests are welcome to explore our gardens at the Manor House. Guest access Guests are free to explore the grounds and enjoy the gardens which have all year round interest. Other things to note Please note that our small hamlet does not have a shop and neither do our two neighbouring villages of Sinderby and Pickhill. Nearest shop being at either Thirsk or Ripon both being 15-20 minutes drive away. The cottage is best suited to families with children aged over 12 as explained in guest safety section.
