Our guest home is located on a 5 acre parcel of landscaped property. For organic eggs and fresh, seasonal produce, Heritage Farm is located right next door. If you love to walk or hike, this is a great location to start from. In your car or bicycle, it's an easy drive/ride to South Beach, Jakle's Lagoon, Granny's Cove, False Bay, etc. If you just want to relax, no need to go anywhere! Parking is available next to the guest home. Guests have total privacy and access to the large back area at the rear of the guest home. Space is available for kayaks. A highlight for me is meeting the lovely people who come to visit. My priority is to make your stay pleasant and comfortable, and provide information to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Public hiking trails abut the property and one can enjoy the island deer, bald eagles, foxes . An easy drive to two national parks and a natural whale observation point. Island scenery includes views of Mt. Baker and the Olympic Mountains Best to come with a car or bikes. Taxi cabs and tour bus companies bike/moped rentals are available. Travel to and from the islands are by ferry. During summer and other holiday times it is best to make a reservation ferry sailings. Information for this is provided at time of booking.
