The small house of Thirimont is a charming cottage for two people located in Waimes. Great for a relaxing stay and enjoying the surrounding nature. Close to the Hautes Fagnes, the Spa Francorchamps circuit, the Robertville and Butgenbach lakes, the city center of Malmedy, Reinhardstein Castle, the alpine ski slopes of Ovifat, Vita course in the woods (1 km from the house), the Monschau-Waimes ravel bike... There are many possible activities close to the cottage. There are also some very good restaurants. Some atypical, like La Trouvaille, which offers you a surprise menu. Other gourmet restaurants, such as La Menuiserie, which amazes us with ever more innovative menus. For athletes, the Vita course in the woods is 1 km from the house and the Monschau-Waimes ravel bike is very successful! When discovering our region you can take refuge in a warm and authentic nest. A pleasant living room, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and the bedroom in the roof. The place is peaceful and you can enjoy a small unfenced garden. The wood-fired sauna will offer you a relaxing time in a traditional and environmentally friendly way. TV with wifi to stay connected if desired. Especially the bathroom with a rather narrow shower. It still contains everything you need (sink, mirrors, washing machine, etc.) The garden is not fenced. The sauna is wood-fired, a lighting kit will be provided as well as some tips to light the fire yourself. It takes about half an hour for the temperature to be high enough. Finally, note that this is an old house, the gîte is old but it is also what gives it its charm. The Ardennes region is beautiful and we can give you ideas for walks in the forest.
