The Homestead in Heavenly Devon

The Homestead is located in the middle of a beautiful 50 acre grassland farm just outside the market town of Holsworthy and just 15 to 20 mins drive from the amazing beaches at Bude. It sleeps 2 persons with plenty of space and comfort. Living areas are made for relaxing, kitchen modern and fully equipped, the king bedroom cosy, bathroom bright and fresh. Perfect for couples looking for that extra special West Country holiday. This home is not suitable for children or infants. The space The Homestead is situated in the heart of rural North Devon on the border with Cornwall, but just a stones throw from the lovely Market Town of Holsworthy with traditional shops and pubs. If outdoor activities are your thing they are all available including cycling, walking, canoeing, surfing, golf, archery, coasteering and rock climbing. We are close to lovely Tamar and Roadford lakes, Bodmin and Dartmoor. We are an easy drive to Bude and its beaches, Boscastle, Hartland, Clovelly and lots of other lovely places including gardens at Rosemoor, the Eden project and various National Trust properties. There are also plenty of attractions including steam railways, wildlife parks, theme parks etc! Guest access The Homestead has its very own private garden, complete with picnic bench, BBQ, easy chairs and hammocks, perfect for relaxing. As well as this you are free to explore the farm as you wish. It is a haven for wildlife and has a farm trail created in partnership with Devon Wildlife Trust. Take in wild meadows, woods, ponds and streams. Watch deer, and other wildlife. Have a picnic, have an evening outside and watch for shooting stars! All just outside your front door! Other things to note Heating is included October to April (Inclusive). The house is very well insulated and uses overnight storage heaters to keep the house lovely and warm in winter. Also during this period you are provided with one basket of complimentary logs. Additional baskets can be purchased. Outside of this period (i.e. Summer) there are no complimentary logs, but they are available to purchase. Hot water is provided by a large (250 litres) hot water tank which is heated once per day (overnight) by immersion heater.
