You can also eat outside - covered pergola, table, chairs and barbecue are provided. The space Situated just 20km north of the historic city of Cahors, one of France's leading wine centres, and 2km from the bustling village of Labastide-Murat (also known as Coeur de Causse), we offer the ideal base for exploring this beautiful region of France. Surrounded by medieval towns and villages such as Rocamadour, St Cirq Lapopie, Sarlat and Martel, with the Dordogne river to the north and the Lot river to the south, and within in the Causse de Quercy National Park, there is an immense amount to see and do, markets to explore, local gastronomy and fine wines to discover. For the active there is canoeing, cycling, horse riding, ballooning, cave diving, walking, not to mention our own 9 hole golf course and large swimming pool... For those who like a bit of culture there are many local festivals such as the Cahors Jazz and Blues Festival in July, Gramat's Country Rock Festival in August and many others including art, classical music, folk music, theatre and dance. And for those who just want to chill out, you can doze by the pool with a drink, enjoy a meal or a snack from the cafe-bar, or find a secluded spot in our 66 acres of valley and woodland.
