Located on the North Santee river, our deep water dock is boat-ready and our guest cottage is OPEN, sleeping 2 comfortably with a queen, fold-out option. The Santee House offers endless time on the water, fishing from our dock or "beginner pond." Love history? Take a tour of Hopsewee Plantation, visit neighboring plantations, beaches, and towns. Ideal for bird enthusiasts/ kayaks. The space The Santee House Offers: *First Floor* Full kitchen 2 Dining Tables, seating 10 & 4 Living Room w/sleeping nook (full bed) 2 bedroooms with 2 Queen Beds, 1 Full Bath 1 Living room nook with a Full Bed *Second Floor* Bedroom 1, Queen Bed Bedroom 2, Queen Bed + 2 single beds 3/4 Bath, stand-up shower **NEW** Our Guest Cottage is now available as an additional rental option and includes a Queen Bed, Sleeper Sofa, Full Bath with Standing Shower, and Full Kitchen. **Additional Rental Fees Apply: $100/night or $500/week + Cleaning Fee of $50 and state accommodation tax. . Guest access Your stay includes a Deepwater dock and community boat landing. Additional guest cottage is available as an additional rental. Our guest cottage is located across from the main house and provides additional space and privacy. Other things to note Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out by 10 AM. In the event that your party accumulates excess trash (more than fits it the 4 trash cans outside), we do ask that you take this excess trash to our local center. As we don't have a regular trash pick-up, we would greatly appreciate that you take your trash (if it accumulates and to avoid critter interaction), to Georgetown County Recycling at 135 Veronica Road, Georgetown, SC 29440. Also, please make sure the trash is tightly secured in 13 gallon bags and there is no loose trash in the cans. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and we thank you!
