We are friendly & easy going. *We do not have an air conditioner, we use fans only. *Long term rentals are very welcome! This room is for one person. However, If you book a stay longer than one month, you are welcome to have a friend or spouse stay now & then. The space Private room with a full sized bed. It's very comfy. The room size is about 10 ft. by 13 ft. Bathroom is private. There are 2 additional bathrooms for your use. Wireless High speed internet is available. This room is located upstairs in a very quite part of the house. You are welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and we usually have a group dinner twice a month, if I'm not traveling. We are located in a very safe neighborhood. We are only 8 miles from the beach. We have lived here for 13 years. There are a lots of restaurants within 7 miles from the house. Walmart is just a 1/2 mile away. We have a Sprouts grocery nearby, along with a movie theater, gym, Starbucks, retail stores and so on. We are located about 35 miles from San Diego and 60 miles from Los Angeles. We are just seven miles from the Pacific Ocean and Oceanside Pier, the beach or Marina and the coaster/amtrak station. You are welcome to use the bike, beach chairs, ice chest, beach towel, and boogie board. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, dining room and living room. Pretty much every room, really. Guests can use the backyard and the laundry room. You are also welcome to use my beach accessories like, beach towels, chairs and cooler. During your stay I interact as much or as little as I feel my guests would like. My husband and work from home. If my guests comes down for breakfast and wants to chat then we are all for it. If they want to just hang out in their room, that's fine too. If they want to share a glass of wine with us in the evening we are up for that! We try and have a group dinner at least once a week. Other things to note Bookings of less than 30 days are subject to the 10% California Transient Occupancy Tax and 1.5% Oceanside Tourism Marketing District assessment. These taxes are not applicable to monthly and longer bookings.
